Yes sfx is very necessary. The raft stage is also too slow and boring. Otherwise this game isn't bad!

Aside from this game being about a faux Kamen Rider fighting himself through a blatant Metal Slug clone (which is probably something you're paying a homage to, seeing as it's in the title) with no sound effects whatsoever and cruddy graphics, its actually pretty fun and has quite a bit of Metal Slug feel to it. Which is a good thing. Oh and that's not a Chinese idiom, it's just a frickin' phrase for the excuse of a plot you're using :P
