The Haunting of Magnolia Manor ialah permainan strategi di mana anda cuba menggunakan pelbagai kebolehan untuk menakutkan tetamu dari rumah lama anda. Setiap tahap, anda diberi fasa perancangan, kemudian fasa permainan sebenar. Semasa fasa perancangan, anda letak kebolehan yang anda rasa paling berkesan; semasa permainan sebenar, anda aktifkan kebolehan lain untuk selesaikan tugas anda.
Cara Bermain
Cuma klik ikon kebolehan yang anda mahu guna, kemudian klik di tahap untuk letak atau guna. Anda juga boleh akses fungsi hotbar dengan kekunci nombor 1 – 6

Guys, I’m really sorry for all the bugs. I’m going to sit down this weekend and go through the entire game, making sure that every level is both beatable and you’re able to get a full scare on each level. I thought I had playtested all this, and I have no clue how it all got messed up. Thank you for your patience.
10-27-2011: Fixed it so that level 24 is beatable. Hopefully that should be the last of those problems.

10-26-2011: Fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow level 21 to load. All levels load now.

As lesonxu says below there's a bug on lvl 26 when you get an extra door and have three you can only place 2 but not the 3rd as the rooms wont be accessible to each other.
Quite a fun and addictive game though shame i got all the way to lvl 26 and had to stop :(
