Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Thanks for the comments all :) killer2237 - the Gameboy had a resolution of 160x144 which we copy here, only we zoom x2. The actual Gameboy screen had quite large pixels really, but still only as many of them as we use.
Toper - Bombs were added quite last minute, so no they don't blow each other up. Heck, they don't even blow YOU up! :)

What? Bombs don't blow up other bombs next to them? This violates the most basic laws of bomb physics!

Yay! It's finally here! I was hoping this one would come to Kongregate. Loved playing this one on Newgrounds, and I certainly enjoy it here as well. This is a serious retro game, you put yourself down to all the limits the old games had to prove that you could provide a fun experience just as much as they could, and you definitely succeeded. Great job with this one! The only thing is that it's really kind of weird to have such a lack of a penalty for dying in an old-style game, but I suppose that's quite necessary for this one, and it works out very well.
