There was no Prozac in 1964. Something like Elavil, Tofranil, or Nardil would be period-accurate for depression, likewise Librium or Valium for anxiety.

I take it back; at least when it crashed on me I was able to restart the game and continue, and finish. So barring the "fatal" bugs, this game is "okay". Parts I liked; others I hated; Got stuck on the pill (knew there was one from the drawing, couldn't find it), and stuck on the flower. Aside from the walkthru (didn't use it), I didn't see any hints as to how I would get either of those items; had to read others comments.

Buggy - One star; in addition to the water pot/shrimp bug and other bugs, I had completed the game except for the dang pill; went back in time to try and get it (presumably the candle must be lit in all 4 seasons to melt down all the way) and got stuck in black screen. Will not bother with replaying game until I need the badge.

Bird is on window sill... hmm.. Great game, great series too. A lot of point and click games on Kongregate have an evil haunting feeling, I really like it.

fucck. i did what lepricon123 said "After you go back in time and put 9:05 on the clock from the first level, you get some items, you use the coat hanger on the radio and recieve a key, DO NOT put this key in a pot of water. Your game will glitch, and you'll receive a shrimp. At this point you won't be able to proceed." and had to restart... good job!

If you're having trouble getting the flower, check the radio, then go and check the window again, like in the walkthrough. You don't have to follow it all the way along but when you get stuck, try doing the steps in the order the walkthrough shows.

Is it only me or was it about the player finding his/her true gender identity? The man used to cross-dress as a woman but then stopped for some reason, then couldn't identify with himself at all and hence couldnt reconize his/her own reflection in the mirror. Goes off on a weird trip with some shrooms he found growing in his kitchen, has some fruit juice and pops a prozac and a flower cuz fuk it cuz what the hell and then finds out he should cross dress again because nobody gives a flying rats anas what the hell he does so he does it anyways.

In Fall 1971, the very first thing I did was to turn on the tele and press the buttons, and when I looked up I closed the eye and moved on. Never saw any photo piece, and there isn't one on the ground. Only when I looked at the walkthrough did I even know there is supposed to be one there.

Just a reminder for anyone stuck with a glass full of water and juice in the mixer : You can empty your glass at the sink when the water isn't running. I didn't know that on my first playthrough, which sucks, because it's near the end of the game. Found out on my second go, though.

After this game supposedly loads, all I get is "RUSTY LAKE." with no option to click on a "Play" button. If I click the screen, it takes me to another website. Is this no longer playable on Kongregate?

I have to echo the complaints about the bugs and crashes. It would've been a 4 or even 5 star game for me, but if you're not stupid careful with some of the objects, you could find yourself almost at the end and completely unable to finish like I did. It also crashed on me halfway through, and if I knew I was going to (oh the horror) accidentally fill the glass with water a second time thereby preventing me from collecting the juice in the blender, I wouldn't have bothered to try and wish I hadn't. The walkthrough didn't help because I was already using it by that point. :P
I've given some of the other versions in this series 4 and 5 stars, but this gets a 1 based on the bugs.

I must agree with most comments. This seems like an excellent story, but there are far too many ways to break the game. The first thing a gamer does when playing these games, and refusing to use a walkthrough, is use every item on every object, and there are far too many instances where this will leave you unable to finish the game. This could be amazing, but it really needs to be cleaned up.

Nice story you're trying to tell there, but the constant crashes ruin it for me. Can't keep my thoughts on the game when I have to keep refreshing.

The imagery was nice, but some of the puzzles were a bit too obtuse. Also, I feel guilty getting a Hard badge for something that can be done from a walkthrough with zero effort (since the game demands nothing of your reflexes).

When the game ends and lined boxes start falling heavenward, just remember to find and click on the immobile grey boxes. Else you'll be wondering why the game isn't completed and the badge received.

I untwisted the oven piece in the past then touched this black goop it left on the ground in the future which made the screen flicker this creepy red picture of random trees, then when I tried to go it the past again and my screen went black. I waited but nope. No more game. This would ba absolutely epic if it didn't suck.

For all the parts including the liquid part in order to pass the level and get the phone to work you look at that little board with the notes pinned on it near the fireplace for hints on all levels; with the liquid part it will show drawings of a flower, what appears to be a hairy seed, a mushroom, and a pill. That's the order of the lights and that's how you get the phone working. You'll know when the phone will work when the yellow light switch turns on. Check as you place the juices in the containers what order the lights are in. If it is already in the right order and you're confused about what to do try going back in time to the very beginning in spring and messing with the phone in that time period.

I could not activate the phone after I filled in all the liquids, and reading through the comments I saw I am not the only one. It drove me nuts, until I accidentally found the helpful advice from "lobn", which I repeat here (so chances are higher someone finds it): Probably the liquids/juices are not in the correct cylinders/containers (I mixed up pink and red). If all liquids are in the right container, the switch has a glowing yellow light on top. To change liquids, take the glass (empty it in the sink if there is water in it), fill one of wrong liquids in it, put the liquid into the blender, get another liquid, fill the liquids in the correct container.
