nice concept and cool art. please add permanent upgrades, explanations on the different elements and a wider playfield, it's very hard to aim

Nice. Too short, add more upgrades (split cannon, triple, etc). Holding space to buy is akward:) Change it so that you press space and then you can buy upgrades, and then space to go back again to game. Not bad for first time 3/5

I click on "Cannon" upgrade, but no difference seems to happen. How am I supposed to have time to upgrade if at all times during the game, there are more enemies hitting me than my cannon could ever shoot?
