Amy Jeschke

Graphic/Web Designer since Sept. 2009

Amy works to bring clean design and elements of fun to the Kongregate website. She is passionate about pixels, and uses graphic design, illustration, Flash and XHTML/CSS to make the site look its best.

Although Amy is the newest member of the design team, her creativity can already be seen in page skins, custom Flash and static ads, page layouts, site features and graphic assets. She even spearheaded the project to create the long sought-after Kongregate merchandise store, both designing products and creating the Zazzle storefront. She is responsible for the design of "medals," a new type of site achievement, and a variety of other icons that can be seen on Kongregate.

Prior to working at Kongregate, Amy learned the ins and outs of the gaming industry at PlayFirst. As part of the design team, she was responsible for creating captivating Flash animations and graphics for the website. She joined the design department after having spent time working hands-on in Quality Assurance, during which she excelled at finding bugs in all stages of game design. Before joining PlayFirst, Amy polished her design chops at a small, fast-paced design agency, with clients like Comcast, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens and more.

When she's not designing or doodling, Amy is spending her time with her husband Mark and their two kittens. She has lived in France and loves all things French, as well as rock-climbing, traveling, going to concerts, learning to play the drums, eating sushi, and dreaming about owning a winery some day.
