Temporary Customer Support Representative

Kongregate is looking for a Temporary Customer Support Representative with potential to move to a Full Time Hire for our mobile and web-based games, including but not limited to Animation Throwdown: the Quest for Cards, BattleHand, Pocket Politics and Raid Brigade. Customer Support Representatives respond to technical, billing, and general product questions via the Customer Support Ticketing system, by writing individual responses and directing customers to useful knowledgebase articles in our self-help portal. In addition, they may be required to monitor chat and in-game messages and take appropriate disciplinary action as necessary.

Customer Support Representatives value a customer's experience above all. They are always professional, take the initiative and communicate to customers in a personable way. The ideal Customer Support Representative will be a fan of games and have experience working in a fast-paced online service environment.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Resolve customer questions quickly and efficiently
Troubleshoot customer issues
Respond to technical, billing and product questions personably
Suggest and draft standard responses
Work with Customer Service web-based tools
Chat screening
User behavior management
Chat context and behavior analysis
Online media, website, and online community research
Work with moderation web-based toolsets

Producer, Mobile Games

The Producer, Mobile Games manages the development and operation of mobile games by external developers through Kongregate's mobile publishing program. The Producer oversees the work of 3rd party game developers and at times also serves as an individual contributing designer and analyst. The goal of this role is to ship and operate hit games for mobile and to help the GameStop/Kongregate organization achieve its overall business objectives, taking games through test markets and global release on mobile platforms. This position requires high levels of independent decision making with some supervisor oversight in the areas of 3rd party communication and overall product direction.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Be the owner of multiple games created and released by 3rd party developers
Lead game projects from concept through development, test markets and post-launch optimization with some levels of managerial oversight throughout
Identify, track, and report meaningful performance/progress metrics, and support the team with achieving performance goals
Ensure stakeholders throughout the organization are kept updated on any changes that affect the schedule and overall business results for the company
Work with Senior Producers and upper management on higher profiles title to better enhance project management ability, analytics skills and overall business acumen
Remain abreast of consumer trends and industry-related best practices
