The Scientist
The Scientist was chosen, receiving funding to begin development on his unique vision. He believed in the limitless potential of his evolving invention and worked tirelessly to invent the BRAIN, an autonomous machine capable of creating new machines in it's own image. To his disbelief, the BRAIN was taken from him before it was finished and used by the government to build an army of machines. A new war had soon begun between man and machine.
The Scientist denounced the actions of the government and began to selflessly make preparations for the preservation of humanity. Fearing for his life, the Scientist went into hiding, bringing with him the Talisman; a mysterious device crucial during the creation of the BRAIN. Now, with the war spinning out of control and the machines indiscriminately killing any sign of life they encounter, the Scientist has modified the Talisman to preserve the memories of humanity in new creations. One by one these creations are beginning to come to life, giving him hope that life will go on. |
