Shootem up with an overworld in the style of Super Mario World. This game is in early development and only one level is currently in with 2 forms of the boss. It will be fully voice acted and massively expansive. 3 Playable characters currently.

Start screen: press any keyboard button
Character select: WASD and left click to choose
WASD to move in battle and left click or “J” to shoot, right click or “I” to go back, and middle click or “K” for special weapon.
This is something I should have put in the description a while ago. Your ship will only take damage if the bullets hit your window on the front of the ship. This is to prevent later levels from being completely unbeatable. Thank you for your feedback though ahead of time!

Controls are as follows:
Left click or "J" to shoot
Middle click or "K" for secondary weapons
Right click or "I" to go back in screens
WASD to move around

Please let me know what you think so far.
For reference, I have a few things in store that I want to accomplish.
- An overworld similar to Super Mario World
- Full voice acting
- More music, animations, and sound effects
- Maybe more playable characters
- FAR more powerups! (This is just put out there to gauge response)
