How does one use the secondary weapons?

Can't move. Don't know if it is because I am using a mac.

Just about the worst playing platform ever. -- I'm not talking about design, or storyline (if there is any) I just don't enjoy platformers where I have to hit a key with millisecond precision in order to progress. This really sucks. I'm rating this a 1 because it's unplayable. Tweak the controls, re-post and I'll rate it again.
