Gather gold and experience to upgrade your gear and skills in this dungeon crawling pixel adventure.

Defeat all 3 levels of the dungeon to face the dark wizard.
On each level, you must find a door and a key to reach the level's boss.
Fight and upgrade your skills and gear to succeed!
Tips:
-There are 6 different cards in each level: monsters, treasure, altar, key, door, and nothing
-Altars can either fully heal you or take 1/4 of your hp, reveal the whole dungeon or makes your revealed parts hidden again.
-upgrade your sword and gold income first whenever you can.
-When you ascend a level you might find it difficult to fight monsters, find the weakest kind in the level and gather some gold and xp before facing the stronger ones.

On the upgrade screen, tell us what the current effect is, even after we've maxed that category, not just "You've maxed this!"

Solid start.
Suggestions: Movement is unnecessarily tedious - allow us to use arrow keys to move, speed up animations, and let us skip to tiles we've already visited.
I also don't understand the point of altars hiding the map, because the monsters don't respawn. It's just tedious to revisit the empty squares and re-explore the map.

Pretty simple game with room for improvement. I quickly figured out that once I got an enemy that i could kill before it hit me i kept seeking that type out, and with the monster type reset after each battle it got way too easy.

some ideas:
1. slightly randomized treasure chests
2. slightly randomized enemy stats (so we cant farm a 1-hitter)
3. lager map
4. more floors
5. more upgrades
6. different weapon types (sword = quick, axe = strong etc.)
7. other ways to customize the character / play-style
8. story (a little intro like "defeat the dark wiz in the 3rd floor" is better then nothing)
9. have fun while programming ;)
