Opis
This is the first of several games produced as a 3 week "challenge" called Game Slam at Ninja Kiwi. The idea being that each team of 2 creates something original and complete inside the 3 weeks. This weeks game is Flur, by Chad Edwards and Derek Wu. In their words "Flur aims to be a progressive casual adventure with engaging and nonthreatening gameplay."
Enjoy the game and tell us what you think!

I would like to "evolve" every few ranks up to look more like a Princess or a Queen or whatever rank. Mechanics and area of impact can stay the same, but character evolution would be nice.
I think the music is perfect for the style of the game, don't know why others have a problem with it.
Finally, being able to see what each "enemy" looks like after you unlock one of the achievements for it would be very helpful. I'm not sure which one Orion is.

Mini-Flurropedia for all those who don't wish to figure them out on their own:
Couplet = 1 green, 1 red. Dueler = 2 greens around a red. Trinity = 3 greens around a red, Pentar = 5 greens around a red, Heptapod = 7 greens around a red. Orion = the small ring with 3 reds, Pulsar = the double ring of reds and greens, Helia = the DNA-like red/green spiral. Packs are 2/3/5/7 of the same (always the same number as the original, so a Pentar pack is 5 Pentars in one formation). Orion pack is the big ring of rings. Swarms are packs of packs, so a Trinity swarm is made of 9 trinities, a Pentar swarm of 25 pentars. Finally, Twister is the one that looks like a % sign. If you defeat that, a 3-pronged one shows up (Tornado), then 5 (Typhoon), 7 (Tempest) and the largest is Hurricane. The larger storms disappear permanently if you can't manage to liberate them quickly.

I would like it very much if on the achievements screen we could see a little diagram of each of the enemies so I knew what I was killing to get which achievement.

I'll guess most of you didn't see the power ups after getting some levels, Blue makes you get all the greens/power ups in the screen, eventually breaking all the reds and collecting those too.
The Yellow makes you transparent, reds no longer kill you.
Purple breaks all the reds in a range a little bit bigger than your screen.
The goal is getting to the highest level, and/or getting all the achievements, I got max level, but not all achievements. :P Great game!

My game crashed after activation all three powerups at the same time and absorbing a quite big amount of green stuff...
It's constantly playing the "absorbing" sounds in rapid speed.
Anyway great relaxing game. I don't think you should add bosses or buyable upgrades.
"nonthreatening gameplay" is pretty much what i needed right now.
THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT GAME!
