How much do powers cost on average? I was curious about reincarnation and would like to try towards the end of classical era, but it would be a waste without enough points to buy powers.

A dismiss all troops is needed. With Horus it can get quite tedious to dismiss every single troop one by one before reincarnation.

barbarians attack with 23 warriors 33 archers 14 lanciers against my 26 archer and 30 lanciers. barbarians loose all except 1 warrior and 2 archers against me keeping 20 archers and 24 lanciers. yet for some reason the game calls it a defeat for me ;-) the victory/defeat determination might need some work (or add a draw for when both sides keep forces at least)

So wait... I killed every attacker, but still got defeated and lost 700 gold? How? Who carried the gold away? They're all dead!

Four hours for a tech/building? Oh, it's an idler. *comes back in a few hours* Oh, I've been attacked by a bazillion people. So... not an idler?
Attacks won't happen when you close the game. But if the game is running and if AI belief you're an easy target, you will be attacked. If you don't like being attacked, you can play in relax or peaceful difficulty

I can't scroll down in the Social Policies window, or drag down, or anything else, so I can't see more than the title of the others.

Cool idea :) I haven't played a lot but just one remark for now. Massive amount of text in the beginning is kinda useless: it's hard and boring to read also even if a person reads it all he won't remember a lot (I've tried it out :D ) . But anyway, keep it up!
It's saving in local storage, which means you will lost it if you play in private navigation or if you switch devide or browser. You can use the export save option

Aside from the bug with chest and tresory, there should be a way to reincarnate at the very begining in case you spawn in a desertic zone of the map (or a way to relocate the capital). Otherwise i really like this game ! Thanx for it and for your reactivity.

to buy chest: Get exploration and archery. Then put production to all merchants, quee 3-4 scouts, once you get back to 100 gold, pause the game, cancel production and wham! You have more than 225 gold

This games seems like it could be dope. Having the same issue where I cant build anything other than a longhouse as the gold cap is broken. I also noticed that you can send a gift of any amount to any civilization if you type the number in. For example i have 100 gold and send 10000 to the incas and my gold just goes down to zero.

Is there a max number of villages? Even with a governor I seem unable to take a fifth barbarian village (4 + starting capital)

It seems you broke the game. Unless I'm mistaken, every building costs more than your max gold, 100, including the chest which increases max gold. Entire sections of the game are walled off and useless as a result. Please fix.

Gold cap is 100 gold. To build a Chest, needed to increase the gold cap, costs 225 gold. So it is, as of this newest update, 1.0.9, quite impossible to progress as a new player.

Needs queueing of research, option to autopause on notification/build complete/science, and fixing tooltips so they don't go below the bottom of the screen.

Game still freezes up after 10 seconds of playtime, probably having to do with cookies or something. I tried allowing cookies from kongregate but that wasn't good enough:

I spawned next to another civilization but my explorers seemed to not find it? And I mean I was literally adjacent to the city lol

Why does the game keep telling me that my troops have arrived in a city that I haven't even discovered yet? Also, I just got the glitch with the disappearing attack and lost my entire army for no reason.

Similar to drbravo's comment: If you send an army from you capital to attack some barbarians, and then, while the army is en route, transfer troops from your capital to another city, your attacking army disappears when it lands, leaving no trace or attack report. I just lost most of my troops...

Considering that auto scouting sometimes sends scouts the same way it would be nice if manual scouting lets them stay where they got send so you can let them move from there or tell them to return
Auto scouting always send scout to the closest undiscovered area. If there are more than 1 undiscovered area at the same distance, it goes random. But I noted your idea. I might implement it later. Thanks !

decided to try again, and the problem still remains, set first villager to hunt, select science project and boom, 1 second into the research, game freezes. i give up, i thought i'd enjoy this game, considering it's overly well thought out, yet the coding seems to be flawed in a way.

I send governors with attack forces to conquer barbarians, and it doesn't work. Maybe it's not supposed to, but city-founding or city-capture is really poorly explained is where I'm at.

I think this game has a lot of potential, but there are a couple of things that bug me. Gold seems a bit strange. I wish I could spend it on things other than troops and buildings, because I seem to sit at max gold, unable to buy anything because things are already queued and the 50 archers in my queue aren't helping anything. Additionally, I have seen a couple other similar comments, but having my large army with a governor come back from a victory(but not capturing it because my army decided that the 2 warriors and 1 archer left in the city were too much for the 40 of them remaining) get lost and disappear when my other city tries to help prevent an ill-timed barbarian invasion. This game has a lot of potential, and I enjoy it, but the bugs make it difficult to play. It has definitely improved since I first played it but losing my army with barbarians on their way killed my motivation to continue playing.

Not at the moment. I was thinking about a score stat that would take difficulty into account but it's not easy to manage since you can change difficulty at any time.

I keep losing units, it get the message your troops have arrived at XXX while I didnt send them there and then I cant find them, according to chat I am not the only one. Great game though

Bug: After reincarnation my culture did not get reset (had 30k~)

Amazing game, a few typos, not the easiest of the idle category but the help section does explain most things.
I like the strategy part, although the progression seems a bit slow, it makes sense since the cost of everything is relatively balanced towards that, except gold maybe, Im earning 5 gold from trade routes, and I am at 1k gold cap with nothing to spend on since I dont need troops right now.
One thing I would suggest, is optimizing the game a bit further, after a while, every action freezes the game for a few seconds and you dont know if you have ordered for 10 troops to be trained or 15. Unless you count your clicks, but who does that? /s
Lovely game, lovely concept, gameplay is of high value but still needs a little bit of interaction with most things. I like it.
One thing I would suggest is make the map either smoother or give us a bigger zoom, with the names of cities scailing towards the zoom level, making it easier to find yourself.

Game abruptly froze; time doesn't pass except on exiting and continuing save, but only affects construction timers and resources, not troop movements. Don't know the cause.

The autoscout bugseems to be not completely fixed, pokoloco found his game freezing, cured it by recalling all autoscouts

Looks like there is a bug with auto scouts? game froze completely but when I recalled my scouts it started working again
