With 37 cities turning towards science, I can't reach the industrial era quickly, I'm 2 days into hardcore mode to earn faith points, and I still don't know if I choose magic or technology. In Help I didn't find any info on this subject and I feel like I'm going to make a backup and test both, because at least I know the technology just increases food and production, while the magic allows you to increase science. Maybe there will be interesting improvements, in any case I find the game top, but very slow to progress, in 3-4 days not reaching the industrial era is frustrating, and in terms of power it is quite exponential, for each level you need double the point of the previous one. Doing the math, I quickly realized that I won't reach level 10 in all the powers, it will take too long, so I'm focusing on science to see the new options by being with the powers of Dionysus which will increase my faith for the next races

First part, I demolished all the other civilizations before I could even understand how influence worked. 2nd part, I rushed until I could opt for some magical improvements. 3rd part I destroyed almost all the civilizations apart from one that I use for trade. I had the opportunity to see my influence take possession of a nation that I was soon going to destroy. I would have liked to have a button next to send troops with conquer and stay, conquer and burn, conquer and return. It would have made my life easier, because too often I sent the troops and forgot to put “Burn everything”. It would also have been nice to add an option when we want to conquer or destroy where the governor is automatically selected, after which the strategy is free to add another with and garrison to directly attack another target.

Lol. In a game now with a city that repeatedly rebels and switches sides as only one pop left and you either invest in food but then they are too unhappy or you invest in happy but they starve. Tried fast building relevant buildings but the city would go rebel before you could complete. Solution - had a buy a guvnor to burn it down. Would prefer to simply block future membership.

I too, enjoy enslaving my population into the workforce so they breed more, and with all this extra labor I have been able to cover the world in farms. Such a shame people care about, "Industrialization". Who needs robots or your fancy steam engines when you can have 100 sla-workers?

in early-ish game (right after you unlock worker) capture a city and pump it with gold from the capital then make everybody a worker. Pop can't go below 1 so infinite workers

Maybe make the distance penalty for diplomacy trend towards neutral instead of always being negative, i've found that civilizations randomly declare war on each other (and me) because they were discovered and happened to be far enough away for the penalty

Those who have their game freeze after "Player x has lost his last city" notification: you can fix it by pausing, quitting, and re-entering. I think that problem is caused by too many changes happenning at once.

The only problem I have with the game is that occasionally if enough nations die the game just breaks which forces me to have to rush in order to establish world peace (which I did actually achive in one run)

I don't know why, but my game totally stopped after Notification 'Player Japanese has lost his last city' appeared. So frustrating.

This game is a lose of time. Got beat up by chinese with infinite troops at minimum difficulty. You can make warriors or not, it doesn't change anything, when you attack or defend its totally random. It's useless to do a thing and unlike Unciv the time do build even only a brick is hours.

well my 3rd run has broken just the same as the 1st and 2nd idk what happens to break it but I guess I can't progress in the game after a certain point

Umm...my run broke? I guess? Its not progressing and the autosave timer is counting up instead of down and the Indians who were kicked out early into my run have now appeared in Athens place and now have five cities in a line I have no idea what happened i was just battling the plague in my city and gearing up my other one for it and now I have to restart I guess?

"How can one get 148 cities?" that's impossible, there are only 147 cities. Yeah, i know someone has a score of 148, but... you must know... that user (girl) was a cheater, she has been permanently banned from kongregate for being a cheater. The maximum number of cities is 147, not more. If you want to get all the cities (147), you should see the forum posts and the comments, you may find some usefull information for your runs.

There needs to be some way to do something about health. How is a city to grow when you're severely limited population-wise because they keep dying due to bad health? The only thing I see to help is a single building (well) that increases and I made a plague doctor but that didn't help at all.

Every time I capture an AI city, I get attacked by a worker. Then, when they really attacked, I had no defenses and I lost. RIP

I took a city from a huge empire of France and there was immediately an attack coming from Orleans, so I bought 300 lanciers, and it arrives and it was one worker. I literally facepalmed once I seen it.
