Please do a little bit more testing, especially in terms of the game freezing but also in terms of balance testing, before releasing any, but especially substantial, updates. I appreciate that you're still working on the game, but I'm currently frozen despite refreshing several times.

given the many ways we now have for happyness, bliss is no longer a strong power. Now we mainly struggle with Health as limit for city growth.

wolfwarhead: at the moment the game considers any attack you walk away from a victory so it also considers any defense where there are any enemies left a defeat in terms of how it reports them

I misread it the same way and wondered where my bonus trade routes went. the happiness bonus is also quite strong though especially if you have a way to get more trade routes.

Good to see frequent updates to the game and the new additions have been interesting! How, it would be good if any attacks on a city, be it yours or an NPC, would be halted if the city changes hands. With the game's annoying tendencies of letting a battle end without conquest (despite a victory) when the enemy has only a handful of units left, there's usually a good chance that the subsequent required attack to conquer the city will either immediately have the city attacked and conquered/burned by another faction that you're not even at war with, or result in you conquering a city that was just conquered by another side, resulting in a war. It mght also be good to take a look at how the game determines a victory. I've had battles reported as victories when I'd lost 90% of my forces and the defender lost almost nothing and had another reported as a defeat when I'd literally not lost a single unit.

Feels like building things and getting science is a bit too easy now. Reduced it too much from it being insane before. Now getting gold for buildings is the hard thing with less trade routes possible too.

Trying to get the pyramids, but the other civilizations are insanly quick even if I focus everything on getting it. Just feels impossible if they get big extra boosts for science and production.

It is nice with uppgrades, but changing the powers is annoying when you have invested in something good and now it is not anymore.

Please add a "Disband all" Button and an "Upgrade" Button for the troops.
Do i really have to kill all my warriors to replace them with swordsman?

I wish the creator read some archeology. I don't wanna get deep into why this game is kinda offensive, but this article is a good starting place: https://www.eurozine.com/change-course-human-history/
The article you linked is quite is quite interesting but I still don't get why my game might be offensive.
I am actually interested in human history and prehistory and my game is probably quite far from reality but imo that's the point of a game, to play with history in order to make something amusing.

Social policies are too slow to get and culture points are always full, pls add something like bonuses or anything to spend culture points
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you have problem with game content constantly shifted, for example because of Culture gain (shorter text that misses zero at the end, every 10th tick), you can completely prevent it if you remove the element from page by right-clicking on Culture at the top and pushing "delete" on your keyboard. If something else is accidentally removed, don't panic and just hit the save button and reload page.

I would love an auto-city priority of "balanced" or "none" so the game will balance villagers based on the city's actual needs.

So, is there a reason I can't do two social policies that have the same prerequisite? Like, I have Piety and Militarism and just got Justice, but it won't let me choose Religious Laws and Despotism at the same time.

Hi there love the game so far. One little thing bothers me that on each minute you count down from 60 to 1 instead of 59 to 00 .I would be very happy if you could fix it :) keep up the good job

It would be nice if there was some kind of grace period before a town rebels. I attack a town and afk. when I get back the town is conquered and has already rebelled. It only took 5 minutes. Seems like every place I take over has a 0 happiness. It keeps happening to me. Governors get expensive after a while not to mention having to keep track of attack timers.

13 seems to be the magical number with population. Taking over more than 13 towns is also very hard due to the low happiness you will get. Building up a town with very low happiness takes a bloody long time even with faith boosts.

please please please hard-define the lines at the top for the various assets.. it's driving me crazy how the screen jumps up and down, depending on whether culturepoints is at a decimal place or a round number (to name but an example)

So.... I just conquered a barbarian city. And the Romans conquered it back without being at war with me and without sending any troops! How the hell did this happen?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Taking over towns far away is tricky due to the low happiness you will get. Can't really do it before you have invested in happiness from faith. Big towns work better since then you can put 80% on artists while uppgrading buildings.

You might want to give the export function another look; I think it spawns an absurdly large string of characters right now. Trying to paste it into a Google Document just causes the tab to lock up. I can at least save it in notepad for now, but I suspect this might get worse over time as more stuff gets added to the game and more cities with more buildings develop.

Suggestion: I would recommend giving the bar along the top of the screen a second row onto which you can put the save, pause, exit and reincarnation buttons. That would give the statistics much more room to breath so that all the numbers stay visible for smaller screens.

I have about 8 cities and got to Medieval Era, which I'd say is not super far, but for some reason I'm getting a huge lag which doesn't go away even after refreshing the page. I'd take more cities but going to the world map and trying to move around is impossible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be nice to know how many cities the other have - Ranking nations with same number at the same place (e.g. at the beginning Barb is Rank 1 and all other are Rank 2)

You can abuse the refund mechanic and the increasing the cost of the governor to instantly transfer gold. First you recruit a governor in the city you want money in, then recruit the governor in the city you want the money to be taken from and then you refund on the city you want the money in. Say, the first governor costs 500 and the next 1000, the game will refund you 1k on the first city and 500 on the second, effectively transfering 500 gold.

the game stops progressing after a few seconds in. the timer on the save button is the only thing that keeps counting. on refreshing im back on the start screen like i had never started a game. using opera browser

Here's my thoughts- this is an AWESOME game but the progress is too slow to play as a regular game, yet it doesn't work idle either because you fall way too far behind. I'd make it like 5x faster when people are playing online and then make everything stop offline once all buildings/troops are completed.

I went back to this game after the updates, but I found another bug that took the wind out of my sails. Again. I was at war with my close neighbors, the vikings, and I went to attack their city. When my troops were out, they launched an attack and took my city before my troops could return. Not only did my troops not attack when they returned, they joined the Vikings, and now I would have to fight my own army of 200 archers. I can't do it. I'll probably come back in a few days, but this really sucked. Hopefully you can fix it so no one else has to deal with it.

So i have 22 castle .. and its so hard to manage them all .. like the ui should be easier to handle transporting units and gold .. also i have to make a Tree to be able to trace the castles locations so i can make a quick decision on which castle should be supporting who as you can't maintain large armies in each castle

Not sure if this bug has been adressed yet. But when unlocking drama you unlock the circus as well (and not only the theatre)

I'm confused over the health penalty for population. 15 whole people is a pretty big hit to health. Are they all radioactive to each other?
