So last night, after that incident with having to refresh, I managed to get in after some time. I played for a bit, but somewhere after WB the game froze. Again I was forced to refresh and again I couldn’t get in… So after trying about a hundred times I had to give up. And today: Server busy! Still???

As a tip to all who have the same or similar problem: In the bottom left of the server screen it says: “Have any questions or concerns? Click here.” Go there! Send in a ticket! And update your “support elf”, as they call them, with the problem. This is the reply I got yesterday (after complaining that the amount of players couldn’t be the problem): “We will be forwarding this issue to our tech support to look into the possible problem. We apologize for the problem. Thank you for understanding.”

If everyone that have problems do the same, they might finally realize that it is a problem.

Topic: Wartune / CW ranking

Getting into Warlord’s Hall is all BR now (not all BR comes from cashing, much does in fact come from patience and using events to your advantage, but I don’t think its possible to be one of the top 16 BRs in CW without some substantial cashing). It sucks, but not a shock in a pay to win game. The system is designed to reward people for pumping thousands upon thousands of dollars into the game.

Pretty sure sylph team does count towards your BR. Considering I wasn’t buffed at all, that’s the only way my BR would reflect as high as they were showing.

One thing I noticed with the troop system the way it is in CW now: It nerfs Herc pretty solidly. A lot of herc users gambled with their harder hits. I can honestly say I won a few fights I usually would lose because their hardest hits were wasted on my sylph troops.

Chaos is harder on mage than on any other class. It is almost like the rune was designed specifically to nerf mages. Sure, it’s not 100% chance. Still, there is no rune that does anything near as bad to knights or archers. Mages get short end of the stick there. If chaos was fair, there would be a chance for archer to debuff themselves and for knights to shield their opponent when chaosed.

Guardian rune is no I win button. Its primary utility is to help the squishier classes tank strong sylph hits. Even with high electro res and with high level guardian rune, surviving a maxed golden herc delphic (especially when they have near max on their stacking buffs and have that 30% mdef debuff active) with enough hp left afterwards to pull a win is not easy. They could make guardian more fair by making it debuffable. That would primarily benefit knights, since archers can’t use purge rune (and most use guardian when sylphed) and mages are more likely to have heal and guardian runes than have purge.

Of course, the odds of R2/7Road doing any of this stuff to balance things out are low. Seems to me its a matter of the grass being greener on the other side. We love the stuff that benefits us and hate the stuff that helps others at our expense. Knights are the most nerfed class in the game, and in spite of that, few things can beat a very heavy cashed, well built knight. Archers are built for dps and there are few things (other than out cashing them) that can out dps an archer. Mages are rulers of heal spam and aoes. Just as soon as we get an event that rewards that, I’m sure the other classes will call mages OP…oh wait, they already do call mages OP because the heal spam makes them take too long to kill XD

I asked about that one. R2 said it’s allowed. Guess it’s one of those bugs, like naked ToK, that is acceptable. It’s very rude if whole team isn’t on same page though. I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to do a bunch of extra runs just because one guy refreshes every time it looks like we’re going to lose.

It seems like it normally discriminates between advanced class and regular 70-80. Problem is there are far fewer 70s teams around, so odds of being matched vs next closest (advanced class 80s) is high enough that it usually happens to 70s teams a few times each day.

@KS There’s a huge difference between guardian and chaos, guardian is a 100% chance to reduce damage, chaos is a chance to steal some heal from mage (and is useless against archer or even worse if they bt on their troops) and even chaos lvl 10 is nowhere near 50% so you can’t say it’s op, it’s actually pretty bad and that’s why i’m switching to amnesia as soon as i get it to lvl 9/10.

Now let’s go deeper and check each class passive

Knight: +15% patk, +20% pdef, +20% hp, -7% damage recieved and -5% crit received then +10% hp from advanced class.
Archer: +15% patk, +20% crit, +20% hp, +10% damage then +10% hp and another +10% damage from advanced class.
Mage: +15% matk, +20% mdef then +10% hp from advanced class.

Now u can see that archer and knight have the same hp passive (won’t count the 1600 more hp we get from leveling up) so when u talk about op knight u should also talk about op archer, they get same hp :) Knight 20% pdef passive + 7% less damage received is well countered by the +20% damage archer get so they’re kinda even, we just get more br which doesn’t change much (can see it being usefull for knight only in god tbh and hof event) so overall it looks to me kinda even.

Mage get the short hand of the stick on passive because u miss 1 hp passive but you get no cap on suntoria/restore which let you heal more then archer can heal or knight can shield (the difference there is that archer do damage while healing but on 1vs1 and no troops bt is kinda useless) so without rune pvp seem quite even for me.

Problem start when you can use rune in pvp, i think 99% or more of player (no matter which class) use heal rune in pvp so there’s 1 slot left, basically every archer/mage use guardian and knight use either chaos or amnesia. And that’s the difference, knight need to use a luck based rune while archer and mage can use a rune that reduce damage taken 100% of the time (if someone mess it up it’s his fault, i’m talkin about who can play pvp not who play it randomly).

I don’t think give guardian rune to knight is the solution, would make us way too op. Don’t think it’s possible to lower a maxed guardian rune to for example 60% or change how it works since this would make a lot of mage/archer mad, the only solution is see is let knight (and knight only) have an advanced purge rune which can remove (according to lvl maybe) a % or fully remove guardian rune. This would also give money to r2 but i don’t see them doing anything like that in near future. Just my 2 cent on why atm guardian rune is op and sorry for the wot.

I sent in a ticket and got a reply… saying the log in problems was due to “too many players”…. honestly? Considering how many is quitting this game I find that very unlikely….
But I guess, if they create huge lags for everybody, then a great amount of players will hit Refresh, and then a lot of ppl will try to log back in at the same time…….so….how long will it take for R2 to realize that the lag is their biggest problem??

Instant 70% def increase is OP if timed correctly. Instant skill theft that can’t be puri’ed is also OP if timed correctly or if luck puts it on the right person in 4 vs 4 (I say that can’t be puri’ed because even when the skill theft fails, you can’t clear the rune from yourself, you have to rely on someone else to clear it from you or wait for it to wear off). It takes a lot of resources and/or $ to get them to max, so it isn’t an instant OP bestowed upon us. I’m guessing the issue you have is not so much that guardian rune is OP, it’s that knights are not able to use guardian rune.

Each class is denied use of a rune that mimics their class skill, but a maxed guardian rune is far better than the skill it mimics (apollo shield). Knight’s shield skills can be debuffed, guardian rune cannot. Guardian rune maxes at a much higher % than apollo shield does. About the only way one could argue this is “fair” is that knights are already the tankiest class with the highest defense, the best defensive passives, and 2 defense skills (that do 0 dps).

So, the solution to both problems (agoran in wb unfair and knights not able to use guardian unfair) would be to make guardian rune HP based rather than damage reduction and then let every class use it. All OPs can once again have a shot at surviving wb ulti and knights can use guardian to their heart’s content. EDIT: Would have to make sure it doesn’t stack with agoran, otherwise people would be shouting unfair all over again

It sucks, but they do at least give you one tool to avoid losing your attempt when trolled with bad matching. Long as your whole team is on board with it, when you match vs that OP 80s team, just have everyone refresh. You don’t lose your attempt that way; all you lose is time.

Amen! :) I just complained to Kong about it. My game froze right in the middle of guild battle. How fkn hard is it to fix the problem?? They make tons of money from us! they should be reinvesting it. Fkrz.
