You know what could be kind of cool? Mixing this game with something like Faster Than Light or the other spaceship management games. Have it be an active-idle spaceship game, where crew stats/etc increase over time but increase more with upgrades/clicks. The ship could slowly improve, and you could maintain/enhance the dialogue that you've got going here. New upgrades could bring in new crew members, and new dialogue with them. That'd probably be fun.

HEY!! Where were you in the brainstorming sessions at Starbucks while we were talking about this!!! Good idea! I had some ideas about blowing this idea out a little more and you might be surprised to hear that some of your ideas match up with what I was thinking. LOVE IT! I might get on a sequel in a little while and I'm glad you enjoyed this game. It was super fun to make and the response has me considering a sequel sooner than later! Best, -Tim

Fun game, but the output/cost of non-hyperdrive upgrades seriously needs to be rebalanced. I've currently got 3 hyperdrive upgrades, and have been spending billions getting the non-hyperdrive upgrades (17 so far). Even with all these non-hyperdrive upgrades, my hyperdrives account for over 97% of my output. Some balance would help here - all your interesting low-level upgrades are functionally worthless.

Yeah, I mentioned that in an earlier comment and that one is on me. The long story was I did a little balancing at the end to reduce the amount of upgrades needed and that tossed off the effectiveness of the early ones. I'm OK with the overall effect since it brought the game time to what I was looking for but I totally agree it makes some of them look worthless. I think with all the nice responses and suggestions I now have a bunch of good info for a sequel. I'd like to bring in a lot of the stuff people want (or as much as I can reasonably put in). Thanks much for the comment and the thinking! I'm glad to hear feedback like this! Best, -Tim

I enjoyed this idle game more than others for the simple fact that you can finish it in one sitting. After a while playing a game for weeks that just idling become redundant and makes you hate the game. I would suggest that beyond just having messages come up when you upgrade you should have them cycle through a serious of preprogrammed lines that you can either then enjoy or ignore and could also make them never say the same thing twice so you wouldn’t cause repetition, but was worth a couple hours.

TOTALLY agree and thank you for that. I think you are pointing out one of the things I will be aiming to address on games going forward. I love random new dialog on stuff too. I think you are making an interesting case here about the lines I can draw from during the upgrade sessions. I like it! I'll have to go back to the lab and see what I can do with that. Boss 101 had this sort of thing going and I went with a new dialog system for Cosmic Clicks. I think maybe I can merge the best of both! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you taking a moment to write! best, -Tim

First overall great game, i absolutely love most of the dialogs, it's hard to make somebody laugh with this short dialogs but you did it, the artwork is pretty good for an idle game, but there is a point which isn't perfect in my eyes. Balancing ! Once u have the first HDRIVE update everything else is useless ...

Yeah, that was one of the balancing issues I was looking at. You might find it interesting that an early version took about two plus weeks to 'finish' without using an auto-clicker and it wasn't much faster WITH an auto-clicker. I pulled out a spreadsheet and did a bit of math to figure out an optimal upgrade path. Those H-drives are totally buff I agree and make you tons of "speed" for the run. They do help upgrade any and all remaining areas though. Thank you for the comment too and the thoughts. Really good to hear the feedback from you and the others! Hope you check back as more games are coming! Best, -Tim

Hey, that's an interesting idea! I hadn't thought of shortening like that. I also was thinking of a comma on those little numbers! Thanks for the comment! I do appreciate it! Best, -Tim
