Palavras são armas! Obliteracy é um jogo de palavras ambientado em um futuro utópico onde a energia é gerada a partir da própria linguagem. Guerreiros das palavras pilotam enormes robôs mecanizados em um torneio para provar que são dignos do título de Campeão — e ganhar a chance de moldar o futuro do mundo. A jogabilidade central de Obliteracy mistura mecânicas familiares de jogos de palavras com peças com uma variedade de bônus, configurações de tabuleiro e competidores para criar um desafio novo e dinâmico a cada partida. Os jogadores escolhem entre oito desafiantes jogáveis, cada um com forças, fraquezas, habilidades e estilos de jogo distintos. As batalhas são travadas usando conjuntos de peças variados, cada um com sua configuração de peças de power-up que podem aumentar o dano e o ganho de energia. Cada personagem tem seu próprio conjunto único de ataques especiais que, se usados corretamente, podem virar o jogo em uma disputa acirrada. No Modo História, os jogadores enfrentam adversários cada vez mais desafiadores em oito arcos de história distintos e envolventes, culminando em batalhas contra o Codexicron, o repositório de inteligência artificial do conhecimento humano e criador do torneio. O modo Multijogador permite desafiar amigos e jogadores do mundo todo em partidas únicas, e o Jogo Rápido te coloca em um confronto gerado aleatoriamente que se adapta ao seu nível de habilidade. Obliteracy exige raciocínio rápido e estratégias em constante evolução para garantir a vitória.
Como jogar
Controles com o mouse: . Clique em uma peça no tabuleiro para adicioná-la à sua palavra. . Clique nas peças de uma palavra para removê-las e devolvê-las ao tabuleiro. . Clique no oponente para atacar quando tiver formado uma palavra válida. . Clique no seu personagem para recarregar (embaralha todas as letras e termina seu turno). Clique nos botões de poder do seu personagem para usá-los quando estiverem carregados. Veja o tutorial do jogo para mais ajuda.

game crashed after the last fight? finished off the boss, "there's only one way to find out isn't there?" gold panels closed.... and nothing. no sound, no further animation, no response to mouse nor keyboard.

Agh, I'm sorry to hear that--I'm still trying to work out a bare handful of hard-to-replicate bugs. If you'd like to see the animation, reload the game and you should be able to see the victory animation in the Databank under "Media". I'll see what I can do to fix this crash bug, and again, my apologies for the trouble! [EDIT: Blaaaaaargh I just found where the problem is and it's a real forehead-smacker and I'm fixing it now! I hope to have an update uploaded later today!]

Awesome, thank you! :D As you advance through the game, your AI opponents begin to use more advanced dictionaries, filled with all sorts of obscure and wondrous words to discover!

Nice game, I would like to see more. The achievements section in the info-databank is worth checking out, unlocking achievements makes you stronger.
Thank you! You can also use the Databank to boost and equip the upgrades you win from Loot Tiles.

I save and quit during the campaign, because it was tiring, to say the least. But, when I came back to play, there was no way for me to pick up from where I left off.
"New Game" Please fix this...
Dkpure, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the automatic saves. Obliteracy's save data is stored in Flash cookies, which may be getting deleted automatically by the system when you close windows or quit your browser. One thing you can do to ensure your game data gets saved is to link your Kongregate account to Obliteracy.com from the lower-right button on the main menu. Doing this will automagically save your progress on the Obliteracy game server (as well as unlock other characters, achievements, and more!)

the surgical strike achievement is not able to be earned.
Surgical Strike is one of the most challenging achievements to earn--you need to deal *exactly* 10,000 points of damage in a single shot to earn this achievement. I'll likely adjust this down to something a bit more reasonable (say 2,500 points of damage) before full release. Thank you!
