So far so good, but there's one major feature I've been missing from the original.
The original had this really nice QoL feature that made it really easy buy exact numbers of units for upgrades and such. So for example, my next twins upgrade for drones needs 100 queens, so I click it and the game takes me to queens with 100 filled in as the amount to purchase. It then tells me that costs 10000 drones, so again I click that and I'm back to drones with my custom amount set to 10000.
You could also use the @ symbol to buy up to a specified amount which was handy. Overall buying units in this version with precise control is pretty tedious.
Hi, thanks for the feedback ... there were definitely some nice QoL features in the original that just haven't made it into the new one ... yet! v1.4.16 changes some of that (you can now use the @ prefix and can also use number suffixes like 'k' for quick entry) enjoy!

I've jst realised that in tha version the energy income is half of what it was in the original... Even in the original the first rebirths were pretty long because of the spell cast to reduce the rebirth cost, but now it's just ridiculous
There are a bunch of things in this version that buffed progress vs. the original (Elixirs, Gold Bugs, Shards) ... the base Energy/s change was to offset some of that!

would be nice if, when using mutagen, if it said how much is needed before capping it. Like Mutating Lepidoptera only takes 400k before capping at 2x. Put in 56 Qi and still didn't get more then 2x

Basically, just see if you could implement all the QoL (advanced) settings that were in the original game. It's way better to have those tools to make up a strategy.
edit - yet more of the QoL functionality ported over in v1.5.1 - now you can set 2x costs for the upgrade option or 'buy all upgrades' for meat units. Enjoy!

the time estimates seem to be based purely on current production not the production of the production and onwards
Yup, they are ... Easy to make an argument either way on this one, the reason they've been left as-is is because it's kinda fun to see the crazy time scales shrink to seconds as you watch.
