This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Just wondering, is there anything preventing me from just going behind the tapestry and opening the door? Cutting it down the middle seems a tiny bit extreme.

At the end (after the 'malum in se' bit), it goes black for a while. This is part of the game; it's not crashed or anything. Put the sound on (or press 2) and wait for a bit; it'll give you the achievement.
