I actually miss the ability to go to the reduced performance mode by clicking outside the playing window. Don't know if its possible to make an option to do that or timed mode to activate it. I also really like this since you have to be much more strategic than in reactor idle. Also to prevent losing money make sure all of your maker buildings are at 100% or 80% efficiency. Its how I've already gotten to producing software (what comes after plastic).

Make it so you can turn factory's off that way if you dont need that one at the time its not active but you can get it back on when needed

@Baldurans: Oh, and add expected/actual ticks per second counter somewhere. This can be some debug popup/text, but it will be really handy.

@Baldurans: Good point that on factory screen, fast mode goes faster. I suggest you to add a notification (like red/green light) somewhere that shows actual performance. Like go red if your factory works slower that it can due to performance issues and add option to switch to some other window or go offline mode.

We should have a way to zoom out and view more of the factory for fixing a cog in the machine or admiring our own work.

I have issues with the screen there are butons I cant click cause it gets burried under other parts of the screen you need a scrolling system

There's false information given. On fast mode it states to go 200ticks/sec, but actually it is much slower, closer to 50 ticks per sec.
Hmm, it does depend on computer speed.. I will make the display more accurate. (it will run 200 if you go to factories view/research etc some other non graphical menu)

i went -16$. 200k down to 20 dollars. I got rid of the steel makers and went back to iron. Note to self. Do not use more than 1 steel maker unless you have a lost of $$ per tick.

500 bonus ticks. that is 100 seconds. Less if you upgraded ticks per second. Except beginning, that is one minute. Man, it is completely not worth it.

Saving factory template option would be awesome. Doing several upgrades causes fixed changes of proportions. Having 1 setup for each proportion and have an option to just load it would make life much easier.

Tried following the help guide for splitting waste and research from the metals lab. Build exactly what the picture shows in help, still get both waste and research from each conveyer when the build is EXACTLY the same as help.

Could you make it so you could right click with the mouse icon and it would sell the component that you clicked on. Just like in your other game reactor idle? Also Shift right click to remove all of the same thing would be great too.

Please add another option to delete items, like SHIFT Click or something. With the current version to Right Click I need to first Right Click on the item I want to remove and then click some there else to close the Right Click menu every time I want to remove something. If that click is outside the game I need to click one more time to activate it again. So that is often 3 clicks for every delete, this makes it kinda hard to play.
Otherwise thanks for another good game, with some more touches it will be great.
I know it's kinda like factorio but that's a great game so no problem :)
Shift left click/drag added! :) Also right click menu thing should be fixed now, but it seems some browsers have a setting that disabled "disabling right click".

Btw I wasn't saying that you ripped off factorio, I played your reactor idle game which came out before it, just commenting that someone else is doing the same thing as this game but in a much more massive way.

I like the game but it's just a more simplistic Factorio, except with time walls and pay elements to speed it up that cost more than buying Factorio outright. I don't see this having as much lasting appeal as it would were there not such an amazing competitor for it out there.

Anybody want to share pictures of their factories? Could really use some ideas - I'm stuck at ~$100/tick and waiting for $26 million (or even $1 billion for a new factory) is really starting to bother me.

Disable that right click above game screen, so we will not get that annoying menu when trying to remove stuff, or make a sell button.

I do like having to run multiple conveyors for optimal performance. I don't like having to randomly reorganize things so waste goes to the right conveyor.
The rule everywhere is: things go out clockwise and starting useful resource first, waste second. In case it seems to be not that way, use clear packages tool, this will reset output order.

Is there a way we could use conveyors to connect components that are right next to each other by chance? It would save alot of space for them.

I think i found a bug, When you have a conveyor for garbage and a conveyor for metal reports the conveyors switch randomly. What i mean by this is when it sends metal reports to the research lab and garbage to the garbage the garbage can sometimes randomly switch conveyors to the research lab and metal reports to the garbage. This makes it almost impossible to have a good research lab production.
It doesn't switch randomly actually, but can happen if you delete some conveyor when there is stuff on it, then it can switch for obvious reasons.. I am thinking if I can do a more comfy solution for waste thing, as it seems to be problem for many :)

Definitely running into more complex stuff. I might just not be far enough, but it'd be nice to be able to upgrade the conveyor belts. once you start getting to like, 12 iron ore per 10 ticks, efficiency starts dropping off fast cause the belts can't handle the extra 2 per 10

"But in short - two outputs or split the conveyor." This works after significant trial and error but it seems random to get the conveyor to split these items.
I recommend using "clear packages" option to reset outputs. It may feel random if game is running and you add and delete inputs, as the order gets messed up this way (Sometimes rather useful though)

I was sold as soon as I saw that you could transport stuff on conveyor belts between roads. Best game this developer has made yet!

How do you get the metals lab to send junk to the recycler and reports to the research dept? As opposed to having junk randomly block the conveyor belt?

What kind of "idle" game doesn't run when you click away to do something else? You should remove that freeze function. Or at least make it something you can toggle on or off.

still don't understand what the metals reports actually do, nor why I would want to feed the lab my steel for more reports (or why that makes more reports..) Some clarity would be nice.
They give HUGE bonus to research. Basically, providing metals will multiply reports amount by "bonus". Each report in research center will multiply research production by "bonus". In total it will give huge bonuses.
