MORE COMBAT TIPS: (5) If you're at full health, try to avoid collecting the little health pickups so that the next time you take damage, you have a stockpile ready for you.
(6) FOR BOSS FIGHT: Use dodge-rolls to close the distance and start your combos. The closer you are to him at all times, the less likely he is able to blast you away with his kamehameha-wave thing. ALSO, the little energy sphere he shoots at you can be REDIRECTED back at him for damage.

HERE ARE SOME COMBAT TIPS:
(1) Dodge roll around as much as you can, to increase mobility
(2) You can dodge roll into a quick slice. Use this to start your combos. It out-speeds even the faster enemies. ALSO, when faced with groups of enemies, especially the elites who seem to hit you in between your attacks, use a dodge slice to HIT THEM FIRST.

(3) You can repeatedly dodge roll into a quick slice. If an elite keeps dodge rolling away, keep pressing him. You'll eventually connect.

(4) if you dodge roll into an elite (the sword wielding guys), there's a high chance they'll start attacking, and then, while they're still attacking where you used to be, you can hit them from behind

I freaking love you daniel! But I really don't like how you removed the jump button. dpdge one still is a thing but still, and in culmination the combos were much better! I hope you take this in mind :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yes there is no traditional jump but please try the following: up+B can be used twice in a row Hold D and keep spamming right or right, you will be able to do "jump dodging" - this is very useful for combos.

It gets repetitive quite quickly--it'd be good if you had wave checkpoints or abilities that are permanent. I get that this is a demo but it's too stingy with what it offers--doesn't make me want to buy the steam game.

Thanks for the feedback. I really want to some changes this weekend. There is in fact wave checkpoint - but you must reach wave 3 before it unlocks.

This game is a lot of fun, but the pickups are an issue. After a certain point, the starting weapon (katana) just isn't adequate for being something like, say, wave 6. It is almost impossible at wave 10. Also, I thought there were only two enemies until level 8--most people would have given up on the game by this point, thinking that there are only two enemies to fight. That is an issue. It would be great if beating/starting certain levels made you start with certain swords. Would make the game much more manageable.
