Space Invaders 2012 stays true to the original "Space Invaders" arcade game.

"Space Invaders" was designed and programmed by Toshihiro Nishikado for Taito, Japan in 1978 and remains one of the most popular arcade games ever made.

A game where the player fires a laser at rows of descending space aliens, while moving horizontally across the bottom of the screen.

How to Play
The aim is to destroy the five rows of eleven aliens - as they move horizontally across the screen, moving faster and faster as you destroy more of them Once you destroy one wave of aliens, get ready to face another faster more difficult wave of aleins. If you allow any space invaders to reach the bottom of the screen, the alien invasion has been successful and the game ends.

Tips for better play
Use the stationary defense bunkers to protect your ship. Look out for the 'mystery' spaceships which occasionally move across the top of the screen. You will be awarded bonus points that get you to extra lifes quicker with these. A great tip is to shoot the columns of aliens on the left or right side, so the aliens have further to travel left and right.
