I found the game nicely done, but too easy. Stopped at level 16 with 60 odd lives left - I was still gaining lives. Maybe the laser should have a delay later on in the game. Should be called clay pidgeon smilies!

Not so sure about the addictive quality. Played it through once. It was pretty fun but I think some simple things could improve the game a lot.
1) A pause button. (apologies if I just couldn't find it)
2) Some sounds, simple unobtrusive sound for the laser as it'll be going off so often and maybe a sizzle "oh no" sound for the smileys
3) Better level indicators, a flash up in the middle of the screen and a brief pause.
What I did like was that the repeat rate of the laser increased as you had more smilies to hit however it wasn't clear to me as a player until I tried it. Pehaps a laser shot recharge bar as a visual indicator?

I was having real issues of when I'm clicking it, it seemed like I was getting at least a portion of them, yet they wouldn't die, also the laser "life" seemed very short, it hadn't even started to fade before the smiley touched it, yet it wasn't defeated. Otherwise a pretty fun game and I look forward to improvements and advancements as they come.
