The Haunting of Magnolia Manor é um jogo de estratégia em que você tenta usar diferentes habilidades para assustar os convidados da sua antiga propriedade. Em cada fase, você tem uma etapa de planejamento e depois a fase de ação. Durante o planejamento, posicione as habilidades que achar mais eficazes; na fase de ação, ative outras habilidades para cumprir sua missão.
Como jogar
Basta clicar no ícone da habilidade que deseja usar e depois clicar no nível para posicioná-la ou ativá-la. Você também pode acessar as funções da barra de atalhos usando as teclas numéricas de 1 a 6.

Guys, I’m really sorry for all the bugs. I’m going to sit down this weekend and go through the entire game, making sure that every level is both beatable and you’re able to get a full scare on each level. I thought I had playtested all this, and I have no clue how it all got messed up. Thank you for your patience.
10-27-2011: Fixed it so that level 24 is beatable. Hopefully that should be the last of those problems.

10-26-2011: Fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow level 21 to load. All levels load now.

As lesonxu says below there's a bug on lvl 26 when you get an extra door and have three you can only place 2 but not the 3rd as the rooms wont be accessible to each other.
Quite a fun and addictive game though shame i got all the way to lvl 26 and had to stop :(
