Not a bad start.
I think that more diversity in weapons would be nice, as well as more diversity in enemy movement patterns. Decent game though.

I personally thought that the enemy ships move way too fast. And if it's not too much trouble for you, add a boss rather than fighting endless waves.

The pattern of play seems to be to get a powerful weapon, and then spend the next few seconds trying to escape the various negative buffs that float around the screen. There was also not much of a feeling of advancement - each wave of enemies is similar to the last.
