Got around level 17 and everything started lagging hard, so I gave up.

We are working on fixing that issue as well as new content. The floors are procedurally generated, but usually, you can win the game before level 15 if you check all the rooms. There is a 1% chance for the pot to appear per room.

I keep waiting for something interesting to happen. You should not have a flat chance for the cauldron to spawn, but instead make it dependent on level. i.e. each room has (level/5) % chance to spawn, or something like that. The hunger mechanic does make it important to try to move around efficiently, but only if it actually matters -- that is, it is actually a challenge. However, if you make it a challenge, then you die, which is annoying if it means starting over. So you need save points, banquet rooms which have tons of food and give you a breather from the stress of trying to find some, barren areas, etc. (A good challenge would be a large, complex barren area after a banquet, so you'd have to plan scouting trips but always leave enough food to get back to the banquet if you don't find the exit.)

Right now I would call it a framework for a game, rather than a beta. There is no use for gold or money, no reason to stay on a floor after finding the stairs, and the odds of getting the pot seem to be off... after 34 floors and probably 600+ rooms, still no pot.

Thanks for your feedback. We are in the midst of updating the game and will likely push an update later this week or early next week. The cauldron spawning has a 1% chance per room. We have played the game ourselves many times and we have usually found the cauldron within 20 floors. But we will still increase the chance of the cauldron spawning on the next update.

Yo I just played this game and got to say, the main character is cute af. Props to the developers. I do have one question tho. How often are fruits supposed to spawn, cuz like I went through 5-6 floors and no fruit. I still love the shit out of this game, I'm just wondering if it was bad luck or just the standard rate. Other than that, is a chill af game.

We are still adjusting the spawn rate. Its random right now at 30% of the time, but we are going to implement a system where it is more plentiful near the top. Yea, unfortunately, that was a run of bad luck.

I don't get why I even need health or gold.
it's not like there is a shop or anything. found the pot around level 15, always just collected everything and went downstairs.

dont really get the point of the game :-/
