Only solved it by the click every where method. no real hints on where to use anything.

Spoilers: You can't attach the handle to the faucet until after you've put the bucket under the faucet. Rope code is the icicles. Number code from boarded-up window reads clockwise starting with upper left frame. Color code is found at the top of one of the gutter downspouts.
