I'm suggesting that instead of erasing lines because your ball is lost or because they've gotten too old, maybe just start fading them out (i.e. make them become more white over time). Obviously the ball shouldn't react to them anymore but then I can use my bad lines as a reference to creating good lines. Hope that's more clear.
Also, saving my progress would be nice so I don't have to redo levels when I reload the game.

Fun but frustrating. Maybe lines should fade out if you die so you know what you did wrong the last time.

Erm, yeah, uh, this game is really great. And I uh, I bet whoever the developer is is a pretty cool guy.
