Increase shoot speed
Decrease player size
Add score
Add upgrades
Then it will be better.

It's very simple. Also you might want to add scores since I think it encourages people to beat their own or other people's scores.

And apart from changing the graphics you might want to do some more tweaking.

Keep working though, like it or not that's a game ;)

Well, it's a nice start to basic programming, but a terrible game. And...c'mon. It's "TEDDIES".
