Our version of the classic breakout game, with a lot of new features and mechanics, including selectable powerups, passives and achievements.

Mouse Controls the paddle.
When a powerup is ready use its associated key(1-5)

- Improved stability and performance on Chrome. Working smoothly on all testing environments.
Known Issues:
- 0.7 seconds delay on the very first brick hit, works after that.
Recommendations:
- If you encounter any issues please let me know personally. I’m here to make it better.
- Please rate the game as a game and not because it’s not pixel art or not an exact replica of the original.
- Performance on Chrome is out of my hands. I’ve rewritten scripts and improved as much as I could had when it comes to optimization.
- If it’s constantly lagging consider closing some tabs or playing on firefox

The game plays ok but some things are buggy in a bad way (like +2 gun makes it where it deactivates quickly when activated a 2nd time) but its feels too much like easy mode atm. Mainly due to being able to buy lives even if you fail, it doesn't create a big of a consequences for failing and makes the extra lives ability kinda pointless other than saving a few points. Barrier and gun combine can destroy most of the levels if not all of it also.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. It's funny a bit. The "buy lives" option was added because in testing people kept dying and I wanted players to reach higher levels. Also since this version doesn't have a save option it was a bit cruel to lose everything at a specific level, so it's like a second chance but I do agree with you on this.

full reset on game over needs a confirmation pop up or something. Keyboard control options would be good. Consider posting the non-beta version after finishing the game, rather than souring public perception by publishing an incomplete game.
Hi , Thanks for this. It is my intention to continue this project and create a full version. I've gathered a lot of feedback and will begin bug fixing and adding levels. Save option also would be great on the web version. Keyboard controls are already implemented just disabled on this version as it creates a weird bug with the walls. This will be fixed soon :) . Thank you for trying this out.

Laggy, shitty game and doesn't follow laws of physics? GTFO
Sorry you experienced lag, it happens sometimes with chrome. The ball has gravity added for curved shots. Thanks for trying it out though.
