nice game, till I understood these lost souls where very important, but can't see which ones I skipped., would be great if that could be implemented

It's cool, but I wonder what I actually get out of freeing all 35 lost souls (other than personal satisfaction). For those having trouble with last bit of level 17, remember that the ghost hunter isn't the only source of bullets for destroying things.

symbols are in levels 4, 10, 16 and L5. plus so everyone can see

Also: highly amused by an entity that doesn't want to injure people via spikes, but apparently has no qualms about leaving people passed out under pools of (holy) water.

I think a defense increase would be a nice touch, since one tap of a light usually spells death. Also, you really must have an indicator of which levels have souls to get, and which you've already gotten the souls from.
