If you miss jumps often, just simply press the jump button multiple times and you are almost guaranteed to actually jump.

Good game, but I think that when the main mechanic of the game is a disadvantage, your levelups should give you ways to work around those disadvantages, not just mitigate and eventually get rid of them.
The last level was cool, though, especially considering how it might work with speedrunning
