Why aren't there in-game displays of how fast you are going, and how high you are at any given moment? It should be easy to add those. And there ought to be a timer in free swim mode so you can see when you're getting good enough to try in the time limited mode.

same as tailslide, hold the down arrow when you come to a starslide-able star cluster in space. then press the up arrow to jump off of it. This technique isnt gonna help you much unless you know what you're doing, so watch a youtube video or something to know when to start trying to startslide.

To all those who have been wondering, the restaurant is 2000m up. For all those wondering how to get there, use the starslide and get really lucky. Watch a youtube video if that doesn't make sense. Love this game though 5/5

the only bad thing is if you hit the sand so so hard that you get stuck, and for me the sound messed up..so i think its a bug

It also uses the same mechanics say a Tony Hawk game would use.
The smoother you land the more speed you pick up.
