Oh no! Greedy aliens exploded the gifts factory! All the gifts are scattered around the atmosphere and aliens are trying to steal them. Santa is missing and the elves are in despair. Help them recover all the gifts to save Christmas!
-I wanted to make an Into Space game without height limits, and Christmas gave me the chance to have a story behind this :)
Lots of new items. New mission system (150 missions). New upgrades and a lot of achievements.
Faster gameplay and destroyable objects!
Some tips:
- boosters are permanent, pick up booster's fuel to use them again.
- do not worry about hitting speed gates, you can't collide with them
- see a UFO - Hit it! It will drop sweets and gifts, but be careful, your rocket will be damaged too. Destroy a UFO and you will get even more gifts.
- buy armor to destroy objects without harm.
- missions not only give you sweets for upgrades, they also slightly increase your fuel
- do not forget to turn off your main engine with "S" or "Down" buttons for better maneuvers.
-You can hold a space bar button to call self-destruct timer at any time.

This really goes slow. The issue is the game economy, there either needs to be a decrease in the upgrade costs, an increase in the money earned per mission (general height reward) OR an increase in the effectiveness of the individual upgrades. Just one of those would make the game a lot more fun. Right now it feels like it has been artificially lengthened by requiring way too many launches to have any measurable progress.

There are some improvements (most notably accelerators not being deathtraps anymore), but it's overall a lot more grindy. Upgrade progression being gated by presents instead of achievements/milestones is a huge leap backwards.

Thank you all for playing the game and for feedback.
I'm going to rebalance it due to so much complains about progress speed. The new version will be ready tomorrow evening.
I can't just increase sweets cost or decrease the cost of upgrades, it may ruin the balance. But I think I'll be able to find a solution :)
It's hard to measure how hard the game when you play it a lot and know every issue (and I really like challenge in games), so please don't be so harsh in your judgments :)
Have fun.

I miss the side missions. they where the single greatest development in the launch game genre and it's missing here. Side mission really helped getting over grinding and I miss the different combination of parts for different side missions. The second one was such an advancement in the launch genre and this game is a step back from there.

UPDATE: My final review + This if you agree and so Dev's can see. 6+ hours grinding to get full upgrades. Once I reached a certain point in upgrades, I actually found this to be quite fun. Improvements I would like to see are as follows.
1. Game freeze bug: Once you reach 850,000+ ft, the game freezes causing current launch data to be lost.
2. The "Invasion Mod" for more UFO's should be introduced earlier speeding up upgrade process
3. Mission rewards: Candy rewards, especially at the beginning, still make it seem like you'll NEVER be able to afford the next upgrade
4. Altitude/ending incentive: Make this version even more fun by adding some sort of ending. Maybe a Xmas Moon, or large asteroid covered in snow and Santa's workshop?
5. Landing incentive: I found it fun and somewhat challenging in IS2 to land the ship with near full HP.
The above listed I feel are the most crucial to gaining full approval of IS3 in this great series among the majority of us "Into Space' fans.
