Way too simplistic, very unfair to expect people to use the mouse at the same time as the arrow keys without a WASD option for right-handed people, linear openended upgrade system provides expotential rate of growth. 20 speed is sufficient for basically anything in the game, which is achievable very early. After that it's just playing for points, which is incredibly boring. It would be nice to at least be able to buy extra lives, even if they increased in price for each one you bought.
I've added WASD support, added lives, and updated the prices for upgrades. Thank you for the suggestions!

Good changes. The math works out weirdly, the number of gift boxes to attain a new modifier bonus asymptotically approaches 15 (based on 75/5, the price adjustment per bonus divided by the modifier bonus). But you need to balance the modifier bonus against the score you're trying to attain, which means at some point you need to stop buying modifier and just go for a high score. Essentially, for every high score you could aim for there's an optimal number of modifiers to buy, at which point any additional modifiers are counterproductive. That's WEIRD, but I'm not sure it's good. I'd prefer to see more things to buy to muddy the math a little, like extra lives, additional gift boxes beyond the three, a box magnet, etc. Certainly a step forward, though
