I liked this game a good bit BUT it just doesn't have enough replay value. It's easy on Easy mode but impossible on the other two modes because of the ultra slow population growth and lack of positive random events. Also, there is absolutely no reason to ever have guards when if you put those soldiers in the farm, your city grows exponentially faster. Also, the "cheat" option almost always results in no consequence...which makes guards even more useless. You guys have a great concept here but it needs more polish, better options, and a little more balance.

OK, I finally beat "deity" mode. The key is definitely to identify when too much has gone wrong, and you need to restart. Now for that elusive 5th star...

Love the game. Two things:
There was a time where I got a notification that I found a rare berry, but I had to choose between the options of Maneuver or Flee. I maneuvered and was wiped out on the first day. By a berry..
2, and most important: There should be a quick-button for ending the turn, like just pressing the space-bar or something

Ok. I actually like this game really much BUT: If i klick the add or decrease button it would sometimes take 5 away at once. this is very annoying specifically if you have to work around with those stupid % chances.

Can't wait to either see a massive update to this game OR the next game of the series (expecting it since the name suggests it's the first part of many games of the same type). Year 3800bc going ATM, while waiting for the next game will definitely be clicking the end turn button 3800 times just to see what will come after baby jesus is born :D

I finally beat it on the deity setting. But then I realized there's very little replay value. I really like the game play but think it can and should be expanded to keep the replay value going. Think of Rebuild 2. I still play that all the time.

I just got 5 stars on Diety
Ignore danger, put all of your resources into getting more people. even with a danger level of 90%+ you only get attacked one out of ten times, it's not right. and on top of that, the loses from fighting barbrians is minimal. fight them, gain defense, keep your people growing. upgrade food, get the farm maxed. get mining and worship maxed, you'll win

After playing a few times, i have to say there's a lot of luck involved. Had nomads give me 2x +2 research last game, plus few ice ages, and beat it easily with 5 stars. But I guess that's part of the concept.

Beat this game on Deity 5 stars.
Strategy:
(1) Restart until first event is not ice age.
(2) Kept danger level at around 18 to 20% until late game.
(3) Only get the techs you need (you don't need worship/religion techs, the clothing techs, you don't need those strength tech either)
(4) Hunting becomes powerful during midgame. But fishing is essential for late game.
(5) Don’t lose land.
(6) The fourth building (burial place) is useless. The seventh building(the 11k building point one) is not that useful either.
(7) You will need a bit of luck with events, in particular friendly nomad, if you want 5 stars.
(8) DO NOT get the palace tech until 1 or 2 turns before you have enough building points to build it.
(9) By the time that the tier 3 techs are unlocked, you should have the all the essential tier 2 techs ready AND have 1 (preferably 2), research point on standby. This is a sign that you have a shot at beating deity.

So, I consider myself pretty good at strategy, but I'm just not catching the trick. I see comments about 1k+ people and all these large numbers for the jobs and pop limits, but I have trouble getting 100 by the time the game is over. I mean, if our ancestors had to deal with 3 Ice Ages back-to-back, I don't think they'd have made it, either. 1 annoying thing, too, is when the numbers start jumping clumps around.

Palace resources turned into: Undefined I had 3k Production points.. clicked build and DID IT... got to 0 Production Points

Regardless of the quality of the game, it is very nice to see the developers answering people's comments and actually improving the game!

I would like some kind of hover text or something to tell me how much is being produced per person in each area. Like when you mouse over the whole score a pop-up with "3.5 per individual". Sometimes I'm not sure if it's better to add people to the 'fishing' or the 'farming' section after several expansions. Fun game overall though!

Hia this is a message for the creator I loved this game but one of the things you could add later is looking at and unlocking places in the place you are in and adding a raid feature, also adding little battle sceens to the battles between you and barbarians I hope you ready :)

The tutorial could stand a little extra work. It's not very clear what's going on or what I'm doing. I was wondering how to get additional tech points and stuff

While half of the game I just have to move my cursor onto "END TURN" and click it, may I ask for tapping the space key to end the turn, instead of clicking that thing every 3 second?

For some reason, the tutorial didn't start and now I have no idea how to play the game except to endlessly click on starvation/feed here button. :(

does this s**t happens to anyone else: I can't single click + and - buttons, it always goes for 2,3 or 5 units instead of one, really frustrating.
