Imperium is a face-paced, turn-based, mind-bending strategy game for everyone. Available on multiple platforms.
Imperium started out as a really small game that a few of the team members through together to have something to play internally. It gave a lot of the team a way to have fun
during long meetings or while things were rendering. Because of its competitive nature, it slowly grew into a huge ego trip amongst everyone. Finally it was decided that
Digital Roar should no longer keep the build a secret anymore. After a few months of polish, Imperium is released.

Seems poorly balanced and thus boring. First player is pretty much guaranteed a win, barring extreme unluckiness or stupidity. The first player gets to conquer a lot of tiles, then gets the bonus ships from all those extra tiles to help hold them down. Second player is instantly at an extreme disadvantage in land and ships, and thus loses most of the time. Which is frustrating and boring. Could maybe be fixed by giving second player bonus ships at the start, but letting first player move first.

Fun, and a nice variation on the genre. First player does have a large advantage in 2-player, and hexes shouldn't change colour *before* a successful attack, it makes it very hard to keep track of what's happening during bot turns. Nothing outstanding about the game, though it's a fun little timewaster 3/5
