As a fellow programmar i can say the the movement is very clean but you could work on the sprites and the cursor. Other than that the gameplay is fine maybe the addition of some enemie might add more challenge to the game.

It is working for me now, I would like to say add in a pause button. I could collaborate with you if you like. There won't be much art to do but I could help you out if you wish.
I am sorry, but this is just me trying to develop my own small time skills at games, and stuff. No need to go all professional on this or anything along that
