Dakar Jeep Race

As simple as this game is, it makes many things right, most importantly, it features proper collisions, which requires you to think to overtake an opponent. And now the things that sadly make it yet another average game: the camera is way too close to the action. The courses are way too simple without much variation and the track is way too narrow. And lastly, and this is the saddest one, because I think it could have been avoided, the cars have way too much traction. Make them drift a little! That's where the fun is! One more thing: what the hell does this have to do with the Dakar rally? A missed opportunity. 3/5

Lmao opponents are so easy to troll

A currency system would be a nice idea where you get cash prizes instead of points to use to unlock better wheels, chassis, ect. for your car in place of the stat system, it seems like a rushed job to have that instead. It's a quick game to play where the only real talent you need is to know how to use the restart button when you get turned around by what seems 10 ton trucks to your 1ton car since the only thing you need to do is turn and not slap your face into walls and know how to go besides an opponent instead up his tailpipe.

The game is a good starting point for a larger game but with the content it has, it's lacking. You don't need more than 21 points in total for upgrades, having 6 points over after doing each race once indicates you being short-sighted since I can easily slap my old trucks points on to a newer truck. It would be a good idea to either limit the points into the max of 21 (7 each stat) or have newer trucks requiring more points to max out. The computer AI are almost joke worthy since they can't turn worth garbage and on straight aways they act as if they have turbo and zoom even a maxxed out truck. You also need to get rid of the walls on the outside of the race track, there needs to be a penalty for having poor handling instead of a slight bounce off an invisible wall.
