A zoom out option would be very nice, maybe starting at floor 5 or 6. --- Playing in Firefox, the new arrow key movement doesn't work too well because the entire Kongregate page moves around with the game. WASD movement could help with that? --- The underground water extractor (floor 8?) should unlock a floor earlier, maybe switching places with the clock unlock. --- I think the new science requirement for artifacts will make the game a lot slower for new players, and being too slow was already a common complaint. I considered the Golden Pickaxe vital for making progress, which I unlocked around floor 5 or 6, but now a player needs to reach floor 11 to get science to unlock it? In that case, I think there should be some kind of mid-game boost to make up for it, maybe reducing the brick requirements for floors 5-11, or reducing the golden brick penalty on resets.

I have enjoyed this game but it does need some changes. First among them, having a save/load function! Plus a way to speed up the wheelbarrow guy who takes resources to the tower, at least on levels you've already completed once. Maybe the number of times you've completed a level would determine the bonus speed for building that level? There are some balancing issues too, in particular the cost of bricks at higher levels. I mean I understand each level being more expensive than the last but the increase get silly. Even with loads of gold bricks giving you boosts and all the processes upgraded and upgraded as much as possible, it can take ages to gather the stone bricks necessary for one brick on the tower by level 6.

Oh I have the obvious fix to make the game a lot faster and then possibly not even need more balance right now: let us click the brick or plank pile to place them directly. If I have enough bricks to fill a wall let me just click it in real quick. We can't do this past a floor we haven't build by labor. That would speed things up a lot

money bags are nice early on, when something like 2k gold actually matter. as soon as you get to 3 or more floors tho, they become completely useless :(

If youre going to make gold brick gains based on total amount instead of current amount, then just make the boosts permanent instead of reducing once you spend your gold bricks.

I like this game but it seems to make my browser crawl unlike similar idle games. Making a lower performance mode would be nice if nothing else.

Finishing the 6th floor got me 25 bricks, reaching it the second time is only going to give me 10 bricks and the next tier is unreachable without actively playing for a full day, only netting me 36 more bricks.
Does your brick gain revert to normal after buying an artifact, or will you just perma cripple yourself?
Probably better off quitting until a patch comes out.

I don´t like idle games, this has really an interesting concept, but just played now 2 hours and already seeing on my 2nd tower, the thing with golden bricks, and all numbers at all, needs rebalancing

When you buy artifacts, you lose all bonus you have from Golden Bricks.... With 101 golden bricks i had x11 production. I bought the first artifact, lost all bonuses and now stone mining is only 5x....

A handy little tip for people, though it lowers per reset, if you don't just let the game idle, but turn it off entirely for a few hours, you'll get bonus time, which is at an extremely fast speed, which helps tremendously in getting over hurdles.
At some point you get a clock that speeds up things a bunch, that helps. But the hurdle after that is a big one, really heavy on the wood and stone, the wood will just take time. The stone a lot of work with your stone carrying elephant.
Once you reach it though, you'll get the underground water plant, and this will boost your wood production to a reasonable, suddenly very usable level. You can prolly reach it when you've got around 100 points or close to it.

Suggestions: Crane should be like 50x faster than what is it now, and double/triple gold bricks. Then game would be enjoyable, now its just too overally slow even with autoclicker

The CPU Costs of this game are ridiculous, maybe you should try to add some options to reduce them like no animations? Maybe there are also other reasons.

Im on the 6th flor, left the game runing throu the night to mabe gain another flor, but dude, it didnt even buil a qarter of that flor thats how badly it slows down, you need to fix that man cause right now this slow down is gona realy make people quit the game, I get that the progres has to slow down a bit, but to slow down so mutch it wont even build a half a floor throu the night, thats to mutch.

The stone transporter gets insanely expensive compared to the bricks producer, so it's hard to maintain a stable supply of stones for the producer.

Most of the balance issues I see have already been mentioned, so I won't bother with that (gold brick reduction, elevator speed, etc). For those of you having money issues in the early game though, since it seems to get commented multiple times, you are likely being baited by the conversions in market. You want to mainly upgrade your miners and sell your UNPROCESSED STONE and that will make things much easier for you.

Third issue, unreasonable scaling of golden bricks earned. I get why you'd expect more progress to be made per reset in order to earn more bricks, it makes sense, but when you have 100 bricks, and need at least 50 to be a worthwhile reset... and you reach the final floor you can and can only claim 11 bricks, it's really not a worthwhile reset. This is a minor tweak that would be an easy fix, but it would satisfy the reward part of the game. If at least I knew I was 2 resets away from an artifact, rather than 15 resets away. It's not a bad game, but it really suffers from a few technical things that you could change to improve the overall experience.

All righty, think I've spent enough to voice my criticisms. First issue: Forest is a major roadblock for progression. The water doesn't grow the forest fast enough to make enough money to upgrade the forest growth rate. The lack of forest growth means you either wait 60 minutes to create a beam, or reset for 1 brick. Second issue: Elevator speed reduction. Every floor slightly reduces the elevator speed. So you can click the windmill to speed it up, but when you're really reaching for the high floors for a decent brick reset, spending 2 minutes holding the mouse button while using boost really sucks.

7th level does not give anything new to speed up anything, like the previous levels gave elephant, cloud, air drop tourists for gold etc. And by the look it seems to only be like max 2 levels more then im out in space..

The windmill/tower speed thing needs to have a way to be upgraded and automated. Makes for too much clicking otherwise.

Need idle gold income, even if it's just a little; Gold brick farming is hellishly tedious considering the prices of the artifacts; and the prices hike up far too quickly in my opinion. Outside of these three issues, this is a nice little game concept and I'm curious to how it'll go with updates. Best of luck, dev. Hope this one gets some TLC and a few key updates moving forward.

If you buy the artifact to early you cripple yourself.
Best to buy when you have 3 times of what it cost, so you still have 2/3 of the bonuses.
Gold bricks needs some balancing way to harsh on restarting from same level, if you combine that with getting Artifact to early your game is ruined.

Losing the ability to farm lower levels when you have reached that floor is counterproductive. There is nothing to increase how quickly you can construct a building until a late game artifact which if purchased would cripple you. This needs to be addressed.

Early game Stone, Not bricks is your biggest income source. Never sell finished resources Ever. and you will find that the game plays pretty smooth

Another annoying mechanics? gold bricks gain doesn't increase, AFTER I bought the artifact, It take ages to get back the used gold brick. I am done in this game. expected but disappointed.

I like this game. But long and tedious does not equal fun. Cool concept, good game mechanics, but so slow that the player loses interest very quickly.

very good idle. everything seems really good except for the crane, it is painful after resets to get them floors back when i have 1mil times more materials than needed, but still have to hold down click for 40min on crane

biggest problem is the speed of the elevator and the water, artifacts are also crazy expensive and im afraid of losing the bonuses i have for such mediocre bonuses
