Layers:
1) Wait for clues(orange prestige button), upgrade: hero, respawn, 1 lvl (exp, dmg, regen, hp, block), speed, 6 lvl(exp, dmg, regen, hp, block), 7 lvl(exp, dmg).
2) You have 13 points, upgrade all to Level 1. And repeat (1 layer)
3) Repeat :D
DO NOT USE 2 LAYER PRESTIGE UNTIL YOU GET 13 POINTS AT A TIME!!!

@dilb The game actually does run when you're in the prestige tab. I can't speak to whether it runs full speed or not.

My heroes tab says I have four heroes unlocked, but when I leave the tab it doesn't seem to keep any changes I make. The battlefield still shows 3 and no changes to any hero seem to stick.

healing strategy still don't work fine, paldin can heal 2k each turn but prefer attack with poor 400 pt, begin to use heal when he is almost dead... if he had use heal sooner or more often i whould go a few level highter

i would like the ability to see in game when the next step is where i get the next skill point to upgrade the heros again or when i gain an additional prestige more on reset so thati can think if its worth to wait or not

I like the premise of this game a lot. I'm not too far in, but I think that an option to be able to maybe drag + drop from a hero to an enemy to indicate who you would like each hero to attack would be a cool way to allow players to make heroes fight exactly how they want to. Of course, the AI is already pretty well done though! Good job so far dev :)

Would be nice to click on which enemy to attack next to skip useless attacks (healer hitting for low dmg one that would die anyway, but he can kill other one with 2 hits)

Sweet concept, buddy, but needs to run about 5,000% faster. Grinding through those early levels again, especially when I can't run it in the background, is pure tedium.

For the Prestige 2 options that auto buy Prestige 1 stuff, may want to add an option to buy evenly or something like that. Mine bought 2 levels higher of Exp and 1 level lower of Healing than the rest

i just noted me some level / prestige values and did it on a 2. run they dont match , so you need more with each reset

it would be better to have it checks that if your tank can completely block the enemy then heroes' attack is guaranteed to instant kill, or at least make it as an upgrades

How hard is this logic to code? Pretty much everyone has asked for a manual option because this is the one piece of logic they need: If you have a cleric in your party and a warrior out front, the cleric should heal the warrior every round that the warrior's health is less than 100%. So many times I could have cleared the next round if my warrior had been 100% at the begining, but instead the cleric killed the last person of the last round when the rangers right behind him would have gotten it.

@chaos1111 at the later levels, this formula stopped working. "(level/100)^1.5 round down". I adjusted and I think it's closer to (level/100)^1.45 round down. Also, for the second prestige layer, it's based upon first prestige layer points, and the formula miiiight be something like (pp/100)^1.05 round down?

@ArgentDuergar - I'm regularly getting to floor 28 with 1 paladin and all the rest rangers. Yes I probably die faster on floor 28, but it takes me far less time to get there than having a slot essentially wasted on a cleric/warrior setup.

Congrats to you for listening to your players, fine tuning this little gem of a TRUE idle game. May this continue to grow, and be a true example of what a good idle game, and a good Dev is all about. @stuff_123321 how did you come to that conclusion? There is basically a single prestige point you get by that rule. 1=100 2=159 3=210 4=252 5~293 6=331 7=366 8=400 9~433 10~465 11~496 12=525 13=553 14~580 (thanks @3agpoTuK322 and @gta74)

Game is endless frozen for me after i was over 1 day away and let the computer running and then was going for prestige with lvl 492 and 8 prestige points. After the prestige nothing works anymore!

The ability to make heroes after the 1st be focused entirely on healing would be a nice feature. There are a lot of times when the AI for using healing will ignore the fact that the enemies can do enough damage to beat one of the heroes when it's not at full hp.

@MarkkuTuovinen that wasn't it, I figured out what happened. You need to spend all your points in stats, if you don't it glitchs.

Some important statistics would be really nice to see. Especially a list of how long it took you to get the first,second,third,etc prestige points during your current prestige. This would give some idea of when a good time to prestige is without having to sit there and stare at the screen with a stopwatch.
A few formulas would be helpful too. I've figured out when you get your nth (layer 1) prestige point: ceil(100 * 0.7^n), but I'm not sure how layer 2 works; it seems different.

@fernando123asd: There's the "Start Game" button at the bottom of the screen. You gotta scroll there and press the button to actually change the stats. It was a facepalm moment to me, when I remembered/realized that after agonizing for a couple of minutes.

Healing AI can encounter a problem now wherein it gets into an infinite loop. It needs to not heal if (1) it healed last turn and (2) the starting state of the current turn is the same as the starting state of the previous turn. Otherwise it'll hit an infinite loop by trying to stay alive.

Enemies shouldn't only attack the front one, but also the other party members. Maybe make it so that the front members gets attacked ~50% of the time, and in the back only 10%, and the others 20% or something?

why the hell does floor 15 have like 5x the stats of floor 14? im level 45 currently and i can barely scratch the first guy before they destroys my tank.

I second the request for a trample mechanic, it would help speed up the early floors when you're highly levelled as well
