If anyone wonders, the key to beating all bosses and seatemples is maximum number of hammer warriors (lvl 50-60+) and 6-7 levels of fort powers

Found a bug. Get out of the limit of the map an then you get attacked by an undefinited group. But no attack, your unit still go on, and you can't go back using the menu

Not a good design tbh. "Hey, This deals double dmg to this, that deals double dmg to that. Questions?" "Yeah, what does that special abi..." "SHUT UP! DOUBLE DMG TO THIS, DOUBLE DMG TO THAT! CAPTURE THOSE ISLANDS, MILK THEM, KILL THEM, MILK THEM AND CAPTURE MORE!" "But what does that guy do who has percentage under his port..." "YOU KNOW YOUR JOB! GOOOOOOOOO!"
No, this is not a good design... "What description do you want? Info what you need - enemy race for double damage" Thx, we knew it already from the game... The questions I brought up? Nah, nobody needs those answers...

Overall, a nice game. Worse then the first one though. There is really no need to have any units other that the first (sword) and the last (hammer) vikings. The whole "protect the ship" event is worthless (no artifacts to gain, just some money, and HUGE loss of money if you lose)... 4/5 just because i loved the first one)

I enjoyed your 1st game, but like others are saying : no gameplay changes, you didn't add features required by a lot of players for a long time, it seems you broke up units infos and the only interest in your new (tedious) map system is to solve the traveller problem to compute the shortest path to do all islands... Sorry but 2/5.

After my first 2 islands conquered, a ship as aborded me... WTF ? Level 18 ?! WTF ? I have win without units die ????!!!!!
Ok.

I don't know why people are whining, there's nothing WRONG with this game... now maybe everything isn't RIGHT either, but whatever, it's improved, though not astonishingly, and it's something other than another idle game... *rolls eyes*

Like the prequel, all you'll ever need are the standard warriors and the hammermen. And contrary to what the games suggest, it's still best to have only one type in battle, rather than a diversity. I never had to fight the same island twice with this strategy. Bosses require no new strategy and don't seem to be ordered by difficulty.

just collect taxes and make everyone mad to get money,go and fight rebels, get money, and do over again for loads of $$$

I see it not as a sequel, but it is an improvement over the original. A story line and some new units would help make it a new game.

Wow, this second game is not even that grindy at all! With the first game, you made a team with all 6 units, just to have all 6 power ups, for the other power ups reload during the animation of a power up, and you just did every battle completly the same. While in this game... I need to break out of sarcasm mode, I think... /sarcasm 1/5 because this game is already on Kongregate, it is called Frozen Islands and does not have a subtitle. Also, I believe there was at least a little bit of story, as you had to rescue Vikings before you could use a power up. Henche the level 1 on the artillery in this game which you need to level up to level 2 before you can use them, it's just badly copied from the first game.

There is a game breaking glitch: When i went all the way down to bottom of a map i was attacked by fishmen hows level was "unidentified" then my vikings just walked of the boat and just kept on going. Back of my screen went a completely blue but my guys just kept on going. I tried to start the game again but it just happend again. Kind of creepy actually:D

So: the Kongregate equivalent of DLC. This is actually an upgrade to the original, introducing a few new tweaks, and one serious downgrade. Worst first: ship 'navigation' is counter-intuitive. "Artifacts" are a nice touch, the benefits of speed-grinding areas you have no hope of clearing other than for fastlewts and upgrades have thankfully not been edited out, the 'recommended' strong/weak against the two predominant enemy types, and most importantly, an absence of the lag that plagues most of this studio's games. If you played the first one, you know most of what to expect here. If not, this is a far better jumping-on point.

very bad bad bad bad bad grinding. I did not like the previos game because of that but this still is the same, too bad 2/5

This sequel doesn't feel like a new game. Apart from the new enemies it feels like thia game has just been recycled with the same units, same specials and the same gameplay mechanics. Also I feel that this game needs just a few new features so that the game can have a good replay value.

Although I will admit, I kinda like having the ability to levy huge amounts of taxes, then when everyone gets really angry and rebels I can then go ahead in and beat them up and get even MORE money from them. It makes me laugh...yes, I'd be a horrible ruler.

...you should probably give us the option to change our setup when we get attacked by fish people rather than just throwing us in there, ya know, just in case you maybe emptied your fighters without thinking about it. Because if you happen to do that you instead just give us a single swordsman to fight with. Oh, and what's with their levels? What the heck determines that? Why did I get assaulted by LEVEL FRIGGIN 42 fish people while I'm clearing islands in the single digits? Is it just hanging around the wrong islands? Because that's a little silly. We don't even really know their levels to begin with, and idk about getting violently assaulted simply for unknowingly hanging around the wrong neighborhood. If I wanted that to happen I'd go to the ghetto.

This doesn't feel very different to the old version, personally I'm not interested in playing it for this reason. I hope you develop it further or start on something new!
