Turning autodrive off seems to be the only way for me to get past 2500 as the biggest obstacle after I've got every guns and upgrades is that my truck often not landed on their wheels.

ok, how are you supposed to outrun a nuke when it flies faster than you and it has less distance to go? I played through this game twice and didn't make a single truck through.

Using the T-rex, I struggled to get the hard badge, my best was 2399ft. Switched to shark gun, and it has LOADS more ammo, and it kills more, and it actually works well against the iron walls. Very first time, got 2782ft.

Use the shar gun to beat the hard badge.
use the shark continously to get past the 2000.
after that keep fireing the shark rapidly to gain a little boost.
