Tips: Boomerangs on left and right, laser for Core. Rangs are weak at first, awesome @ highest and Crouching Monkeys for Epic power. Laser is reflected by glass bloons.... which the rangs can kill, the scatter effect of the laser = massacre. Research Phase and Hot Rangs and shielded lead bloons are easy. Ignore everything else and it's easy. Don't bother getting core Epic, you don't need it to complete the game. Platinum Trophies are difficult, but doable on *most* stages.

The later levels make it 100% impossible to get platinum. Even with a fully maxed everything and using all powers at once and 100% research you can't destroy every balloon. And if you try, the game enters lag-hell.

Here's a strategy that I used to beat the game: I used whips, only level 5, and on each level I bought the mouse precision thing. Then I whiplashed my mouse back and forth furiously so that the whip would "stretch" 30-fold of its original. As long as you move you move very fast it obliterates anything.

I was a little hesitant to get into the game after the very negative comments at the top but after giving it a try I can say it is a veryenjoyable game put out by NK. Yes, it does have the asking-for-money factor common to many of their other games, but these features are also available through progressing in the game. I am very impressed by the graphics here, the comic theme turned out well. On a side note the lead bloons are just a smidge OP.

Game has mechanics to be good, but is to money hungry and makes it unplayable. I don't see why anyone would pay money for this in the first place.

Was able to play yesterday bought some upgrades. Played today and all the upgrades I bought the day before were gone. Only ones I had were the ones I had equipped though it wouldn't let me upgrade past that. Meaning to get the next upgrade I had to buy every upgrade I had bought in that upgrade path.

So this game really, really grows on you. It's grindy, yes, but if you come back and play a few levels every day instead of binging it's really quite fun. The level design is fantastic with a ridiculous number of bloons on the screen, and you do earn cash faster as you get farther into the game. It's definitely different from the first one, but you can get a lot of gameplay over a long time if you approach this one with a slow and steady attitude. :)

Take out the penalty for redoing stages. Give 100% blops for bloons you've killed already, not 1-in-3. The game would be grindy enough like that, the way it is currently is ridiculous.

Shame on you dev for clearly making this game nothing more than a thinly veiled cashgrab attempt. In-game content should enhance gameplay not be required to enjoy the game. You have obviously developed this game to make gaining in-game money so mind-numbingly tedious in hopes that people will pay for upgrades out of sheer boredom. I have loved the Bloons series for years, and while this iteration looks to be fun I will not play it any further due to your poor decision to force people to buy upgrades. 1/5

i love all shoot'em up..... I really thought that before playing this joke of shoot'em up.....
So slow evolution, even farming the 3 - 5 level of each world are really not enough, need some money balance to be enjoyable, since then poor game between 1 and 2/5 because graphics and cool overall game is really not enough to compensate this money lack unless you want to spend 10 000 000 000 000 euros in kreds to get everything...

"Going for gold+ medals on the Monkey Lane stages...should also lessen the necessity for grinding." The Diamond Trophy is only worth 100 Blop Cash. How does that at all limit grinding? You'd have to grind monkey lane levels dozens of times to get upgrades.

Connection bugs
If you run into connection issues and your profile has not loaded completely (everything looks wiped) you should just need to reload the game. The way upgrades/research are stored means that once they're saved they won't be deleted. If they're not showing up it means the game couldn't load them.
The saving issues, where you lose blops you've earned on a stage are rarer, so we'll be looking into that more (as well as the general connection bugs)
Replaying levels
The later stages (particularly 3-5) have significantly more blops than earlier ones, so if you need to farm cash I'd recommend playing those. Going for gold+ medals on the Monkey Lane stages, as well as focusing on weapon upgrades before research upgrades should also lessen the necessity for grinding.

ok hold on... this a a new major bug. i go through a level and the MOMENT i click "replay" my counter for upgrade points resets to before the run. this did NOT happen in beta.

Really loved the first one (though I wish it wasn't game over if you didn't get bronze) and I tried to love this one but the grind became too hard. It's really not fun just replaying the same levels to get one upgrade.

wth where is all of my research? I played a bunch yesterday, came back today and it is all gone. Not playing if it just goes away, that is WAY too stupid, and if that is the case it needs to be in BIG PRINT. If a bug, please fix it ASAP

Serious, repetitive grind to advance through stage 2. Connection problems. frame rate trouble (might be my weak machine). Not up to Ninja's usual work. Can't you guys tweak this to make it more playable? There's a good game in here somewhere...

hmm.. first it looked interesting .. a top down shooter when you do not have to worry about damage!.. but after 10 minutes it turned out that this is nothing else than the same cash - grab grinding game like the later ones in the bloons series just under a different skin. Disappointing.. that's all.

3/5 for me. Tips for players : Shurikens + Plasma Beam combo works well until 3-5 for me, provided you research alot on them. Tips for devs : Trophy reward should be increased by stages(10/25/50/100 in stage 1, 20/50/100/200 in stage 2 and so on). Completing 6 Awards and 100% Blops should also give you some money to make it less grindy. stage 3 and later lags like hell. PLEASE give transformations from golden Bloons max level of counters(pops the bloons which normally cannot); it sucks when you get a magic transformation AGAINST CERAMICS WAVE.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Why on earth would I play a game that takes my money away after the amount of grinding it takes in this game. So disappointed NinjaKiwi.

Apart from the obvious grind issues, I give up on this game simply because I can't tell what power differences the different powerups have. I know their WEAKNESSES but nothing else.

Lost a few thousand monies due to server-end connection issues and decided to stop playing, but that seems to have saved me from hours of frustration. This game is an utterly stupid amount of grinding and "PAY TO AVOID GRINDING" - ESPECIALLY considering how glitched the game is. When I ended up with $-2809 after level 2 I decided to just give this 1/5 and move on. I've been increasingly disappointed by NinjaKiwi as they focus less on actually making fun games and more on cramming as much buyable content into lazy cashgrabs as possible.

Anyone else encountered this bug? I played from zone 1 stage 1 through 4. then my 'gold' / money got stuck. no matter how many stages i played. i cant get anymore money. how to upgrade / proceed further into the game if we cant get more money ?
