having played the game yesterday - today ALL my Research is gone ... it saved everything else %cleared and %red blops etc but the research is gone.. so that's it for me a bit grinding for research is ok but having wasted thousands of blops just is more than disappointing. -> 1/5 instead 4/5

Disappointing. You'll have finished all the stages long, long before being able to afford half of the upgrades in the shop. I managed to clear the final level without ever seeing one of the activated abilities.

DOOD, when I get the plasma vision finaly then switch to the dart thing that shoots around me (Core attack) then I need to buy the plasma vision for another 1500 dollar, Wasting money...

Nice to see the game is once again allowing blops to accumulate. BTW, magitek2 is correct about darts and laser core for a key reason: Research can let your weapon break it's "weakness" bloon once per X shots. The interval for this doesn't change significantly between weapons, which means a faster-firing weapon will have more chances per second to break it's "weakness" bloon simply due to the sheer rate of fire... that X shots happens faster, allowing more "special" shots in a time frame. Darts and lasers fire quickly, and it doesn't take long for them to become a virtual STREAM of shots fired, so the "special" shots from Research happen quickly. Bloontonium Darts (for arms) and Focused Beams (for core) will bring those lead and glass bloons down FAST! Just don't forget Force Field Phasing and Big Bloon Sabotage! Blop Magnet is also important.

I'll grant you that missles are powerful, but does their weakness bloon need to be in every single bloon you pop? That seriously makes a powerful weapon incredibly weak....

I played Bloons Super Monkey 2 on Ninja Kiwi website, and on level 1-5, there was a boss. When I played level 1-5 here on Kongregate, there wasn't a boss at the end. What happened? By the way, great game.

If you get up to level 3-5 you can let it sit in the middle of the bottom of the screen and leave the room for 5 minutes and 45 seconds. You will have accumulated quite a few blops.

Heh, it reset all of my weapons and research. I kept the weapons I had been using, but all the others disappeared. Tried to switch one of them to see if I could get it back, and I lost the max upgraded one I had been using.

What's with games that don't let you erase your save and start over? I even went into my cookies, searched for "bloons", and deleted the only Ninjakiwi cookie that came up, and that still didn't do it, so I'm out of ideas. Why can't every game give you a clearly labeled "erase data" button somewhere in the options?

Area 4: Stage 5 cleared with full arms and almost full core (no activated ability yet). Thanks to top commenters for the tips about weapons.

This game was cool! to kill mini moab is required darts, upgrade them and pass to boss. kill the boss without he will get you. get more upgrades. killing shields by mini moabs are easier than bloons. and the new bloons required different stuff. cool game. 5/5

I really liked bloons super monkey 1, I just was unhappy because of the lack of saving, but now it have saving.
About those shop problems, I never had any problem with this, you tried to refresh the page?
Also another thing it should have is achievements.

Great game, but a couple of points, some of which are well established, are detracting from my overall score. Firstly, it's too grindy. 3 for 1 on level replays makes it too time consuming to try out all upgrades. Secondly, can we have the option to "drop" a super powerup? More often than not it's less powerful than my standard Monkey, and results in me missing bloons I would have otherwise popped.
Other than that, polished and fun - great work!
