Just about hack the grinding, it was going ok,
even the annoyance of money from a level not adding on to total at end I could live with,
but getting money set to -1 so I cannot buy anything at all is a stinking glitch that has really made me hate this stupid game.
Is there any way to get money back into positive integers?

Everyone keeps saying the game takes too much grinding but if you know what to go for from the beginning grinding is actually rather minimal.
Take darts in each arm and tech in the middle, a few early upgrades to blop magnet and maybe 3 big bloon sabotage levels along the way, I ended up with both darts at the final upgrade level by the time I got to the 20th level with very little grinding and got the doom burst core during the level which, all together, will let you easily take down the boss.
Now... on the other hand, to get all the trophies in the game... yeah, that will take a lot of grinding.

Being able to sell back skills would help a lot with the grind. All the shielded lead balloons have made all the money I spent upgrading boomerangs useless.

First of all i really Love Bloons... I love the way they look and i love the way it sounds when they pop and bloons super monkey 1 was really really fun.
But as many others already said this part is way to much grinding... if we do some math i think you need ~300.000 credits to fully upgrade you Monkey and you only earn 1000-2000 credits per round you need to fly 200 levels O_o and thats would be just the perfect way i think...
another thing is how can it be possible that my mighty mighty supermonkey can be pushed away by some bloons O_o there is no law in the physical world wich can be applied that my mighty monkey getting pushed out of is lane O_o

Click go, get a sandwich. Click go again. Repeat while doing housework, and by the end of the day, you can afford an upgrade!

I'm not enjoying the power-ups from the Bloon-fairy. Seems to start when there is nothing on the screen to hit. Kind of a wasted effort.

Cool. So I stopped playing for a few hours, came back, and my research was all reset. Well, I know which hard badge I'm not getting.

So, let me see if I have understood this. To get anywhere in this game, you have to grind endlessly and yet after completing a level collecting all blops, will only receive one third as much income the next time through the level, while the cost of upgrades increases massively, from what was a much too high price to start with?
The Bloons games have been pretty good so far, and this one if fun until you realise how much grinding is involved. 2/5 from me.

grinded for an hour and Im no where near powerful enough to get anything other than bronze on first stage levels and half the second stage

Game idea and quality: 5/5 Gameplay 5/5 Grinding -1/5 = 3/5 overall .... Fix the money income and it will get the 5/5 it deserves!

WTH! What happened to my research!? It's all gone! I spent hours on it and then they just delete it. 1/5 stars should be compensation enough.

i find area 2 stage 3, with left and right whips and pulse laser for core is an easy way to grind money, just pick a side, start, go afk, rinse and repeat, easily get 1k per run

Is there any way to lower quality? I put it on software mode, but the lag is still impossible to deal with. If I could just lower the quality and deal with slightly-less-round bloons, I believe I could get by.

Tip: For the horribly annoying third boss, it really seemed to help to buy the powerup that maps the monkey more closely to your mouse pointer. Gets it back to the target quickly when the balloon stack pushes it off.

In my opinion, the world 3 boss is a cheater. It always sends out these shielded bloons that are all bunched together that always hog your rear, it is so annoying!

i said it before and ill say it again and i will PROBABLY get just as many dislikes (maybe even more) for saying it but
Its not that hard to grind on this game, if its taking you forever to do it then perhaps you have no idea what your doing.

If you could make it so that the game does not take away weapon upgrades I already purchased, that would be great.
1/5: way too low income, bugs making upgrades disappear which is all the more infuriating because it takes forever to buy them in the first place

this ÿou can't pass through shields" thign mostly just means you can't do shit for the entire game untill you've spent 3 hours farming enough research

Quickest way to earn the hard badge (takes about 2-3 hours): 1) Do NOT invest in any research. Only purchase the Dart and Laser weapons as outlined below. 2) Area 1-4: Grind it. Acquire Double Shot on Arms and Laser Vision on Core. 3) Area 2-4: Same process. Acquire Triple Shot on Arms and Dual Blast on Core. 4) Areas 3-4 and 3-5. Grind these as well. Simply purchase the additional Spikey Shots for the Arms. 5) You should now be properly equipped to rush through the remainder of the game without any more grind. Hope this'll help with the numerous complaints to make badge acquisition easier. Happy badge hunting!
Addition: Spikey+Triple, Dual Blast and some techs were enough to beat it with parallel monkey on the final level.
