You can just touch the area where you want to put your sqare.

great game, but your finger blocks a lot of the screen, and it's hard to see the blue squares closing in on you. plus black screen when you win is a little unceremonious.

i won and it just shows a black screen

I don't know if this was intentional, but once I got to a fairly small size I couldn't reach all the way to the left and right edges of the screen. It was like there was an invisible wall or something. (I could reach the top and bottom just fine)
