Based off of Shootorial, just a test run to break me into Flash AS2. Will be working on more content soon as of 1/3/13.

you took the info from the shoot-orials (i dunno how its spelled lol) and made your own sprites and bg. not bad for your first game im assuming :P maybe esc brings up menu or pause. try to figure out power ups for the gun like rapid fire or 3-way bursts (think how contra you can get a flame thrower and stuff like that) and sexy the bg up so it flows seemlessly. great start tho!

Something that will help with the smoothness of your game, that shouldn't be TOO hard, is making the background transition better, instead of suddenly getting cut off.
