You eat enemiesmatching your sword color, and you CAN CHANGE IT, although it breaks your combo. Thus, best strategy is to eat one color, and only change when danger is maxed.

You have a good concept, but you need to push the idea further. You can make the fighting scene more challenging, so there is actually a probability it fails. The player should have the ability to respond to the parents (even just "...", it still allows identification). If the game was being played on a week rather than a day, and you could for exemple choose to stay in your room, to prepare dinner with your mother, or more, and thus develop an interactive fiction about the boy.

I couldn't make it to the end, but the message was empowering. I felt I could make it. I won, but the message was so cold I felt I lost ... Oh, games, you are the best philosophy's teachers in the world.

Sometimes, I idle in the main menu, just to be said I rock when I come back.

@Qude : click click click ... just like in the intro scene. This game is on a loop. The boy obeys the order in both game and real life, and both mix as a third party (aka YOU) plays the boys palying himself... Are you sure nobody is there, playing your character too ?

More laggy-buggy than slashy-slashy ! Don't get me wrong I loved the game, but I had higher expectations... You can kill the thieves before they start speaking, so the purple noble guy don't die and you are stuck. The worst part it that the game is called lucky tower 2, but this gameplay is not luck-based nore tower-based anymore ! Definitely not the awesomeness Armor Games used me to.

Suggestion : At the end of the game, it would be supercool to zoom out and look at the city you constructed !
